The inspiration for this image came from one of my followers, anonymous, who requested a picture about Jesus protecting a woman from verbal abuse. Domestic violence and abuse are a heavy topic, and there is very little artwork out there for encouragement.
My heart breaks for anyone in this situation, and I pray that this image gives you the assurance that you are not alone. I do not have all of the answers for you, but I do know that the Bible says we can trust in Him for comfort and safety!
Psalm 34:18 ... The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
