Pray Tonight!!

One song can change a moment.

One idea can change a world.

Once step can start a journey.

But prayer can change the impossible.

Churches ...

A LIBERAL church says you are welcome here and you do not have to clean up your life.

A LEGALISTIC church says you are not welcome here until you clean up your life.

The Lord says you are welcome here and he will change your life from the inside out!

John 8:10-11 ...  When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Romans 14:4 ... Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Romans 8:1 ... There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Love Begets Love

Men, unfortunately, do not always understand a very simple truth: the woman, when she loves is intensely reciprocal. Female nature is like an echo, an emotional reflection. Let's absorb man's attitude towards us on an intuitive and energetic level his words, his actions, his intentions and if these match each other. And then, just we give it back. What goes around, comes around.

Sometimes like tenderness, care, peace and a home to rest from the world. Other times like coldness, distance and a closed door forever. Because a woman is not a grudge It's not vindictive. It's a mirror. And it reflects exactly what you have put into it.

Do you want a garden? Take care of it. Do you want love? Love her. Do you want loyalty? Be worthy of trust. If you have a calm, warm, loyal and loving woman by your side it's not a coincidence. It is the result of your actions.

And if next to you there is coldness and emptiness, it's not a coincidence either. You are a reflection of what you sow. Look at your woman and you will see who you really are. Because she is your mirror.

Memories of Christmas!!

 One day years from now,

your Christmas tree won’t be graced with the same handmade decorations. You won’t be trying to find the time to book in Santa photos, and the only squeals of excitement are the echo of a memory you didn’t know would be your last.
You won’t be leaving milk and cookies out or gnawing on the end of carrots. You won’t be sending letters off to Santa, hiding presents, or stroking their head as they fight sleep hoping to catch that elf, or hear sleigh bells make music in the sky.
You won’t miss the exhaustion, but you will miss rising early and smiling behind a mug at the scene before you.
There will be Christmas movies, just without little limbs curled around you.
There will be Christmas lights, just not reflected in their eyes.
There will be magic, just less wonderment.
One day years from now, they will be older, wrapping presents of their own, their memories of Christmas wrapped up in you.
And you will talk of sleigh bells and reindeer once again, because if you are lucky, you get to relive the tired magic through rested eyes,
and you will realize,
these really are the days.

"The Past"

The devil appeared to three Pastors and said to them: "If I gave you the power to change something in the past, what would you change?"

The first of them, with great apostolic fervor, replied: "I would like to prevent you from leading Adam and Eve to sin, so that humanity does not separate from God."
The second, a man full of mercy, said to him: "I will prevent you from straying from God and condemning you forever."
The third of them was the simplest and instead of answering the tempter, he knelt down, bowed his head and prayed: "Lord, deliver me from the temptation of what might have been and what was not."
The demon, screaming and trembling with pain, fled.
The other two were surprised and said to him: "Brother, why did you react like this?"
And he answered them: “First, we should never talk to the enemy.”
“Secondly, no one in the world has the power to change the past.”
“Third: Satan’s interest was not to prove our virtue, but to trap us in the past, so that we neglect the present, the only time God gives us His grace and we can cooperate with Him to fulfill His will.”
Of all the demons, the one that most holds men back and prevents them from being happy is “what could have been and was not.” The past is left to the mercy of God and the future to His providence. Only the present is in our hands.

Live today loving God with all your heart.

Things The World Says but Jesus Never Said!

The world says: “Live YOUR truth.”

JESUS never said that. JESUS said IF you: “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the TRUTH , and the TRUTH shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32)

The world says: "Follow your heart."

JESUS never said that. JESUS said follow ME. (Matthew 4:19) Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

The world says: “Be true to yourself.”

JESUS never said that. HE said whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themself, pick up their cross, and follow ME. (Luke 9:23)

The world says: “Believe in yourself.”

JESUS never said that. HE said believe in ME. "I AM the WAY, THE TRUTH and the LIFE and NO ONE comes to the FATHER but through ME." (John 14:1,6)

The world says: “As long as you're happy, that’s all that matters."

JESUS never said that. HE said: "What would it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" JESUS also said "Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it." (Mark8:35-36)

STOP listening to what the world has to say, and BELIEVE what GOD has to say...ALL of it.

Words To Live By ...

Look around you ><> Don’t ever forget how blessed you are. When we forget, we can become ungrateful, doubtful and surprisingly complacent. Being able to appreciate what GOD has already done will set your table of faith for what surely is to come. It will set the table for the peace and joy of the LORD in your life. It will set the table for a heart full of praise and a mind set on JESUS.

1 Thessalonians 5:18, Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how GOD wants you to live in CHRIST JESUS. Bottom line is, there are a lot of people who are a lot worse off than you or I materially and physically. If you look at from that prospective, we really have nothing to complain about. Have a great day and don’t miss a chance to tell somebody about JESUS. GOD Bless & Good Health!!

In The Midst of Life's Darkest Moments!

In these comforting words, we are reminded of the unwavering love and protection that our Heavenly Father extends to all of His redeemed people. When we feel overwhelmed by the crashing waves of life's difficulties, these verses speak a resounding message of hope and reassurance. God declares that He has ransomed us, claiming us as His own, and promising to be ever-present as we navigate the turbulent waters and raging fires that may threaten to consume us.

No matter how deep the valley, or how scorching the flames of trial, we need not fear, for our Almighty God walks alongside us. He is the Holy One, our Savior, who will not allow the rushing torrents to sweep us away, or the blazing furnace to burn us up. Just as a loving parent shields their child, so does our Heavenly Father wrap us in His protective embrace, shielding us from harm and carrying us through every storm.

These words are a steadfast anchor for our souls, reminding us that we belong to the King of kings, who has called us by name and will never abandon us, no matter what challenges we face. In the midst of life's darkest moments, we can cling to the unshakable truth that our God is with us, and that nothing can separate us from His unfailing love!

Isaiah 43:1-3 ... But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

True Hero of The Titanic

The night the Titanic sank in 1912 on April 14th, 1,528 people went into the frigid waters. John Harper, after putting his only daughter on a lifeboat, was seen swimming frantically to people in the water leading them to Jesus before the hypothermia became fatal. Rev. Harper swam up to one young man who had climbed up on a piece of debris. Rev. Harper asked him between breaths, "Are you saved?" The young man replied that he was not. Harper then tried to lead him to Christ only to have the young man who was near shock, reply: no. John Harper then took off his life jacket and threw it to the man and said, "Here then, you need this more than I do" and swam away to other people. A few minutes later Harper swam back to the young man and succeeded in leading him to salvation.

Of the 1,528 people that went into the water that night, six were rescued by the lifeboats. One of them was this young man on the debris. Four years later, at a survivors meeting, this young man stood up and in tears recounted how John Harper had led him to Christ. Rev. Harper had tried to swim back to help other people, yet because of the intense cold, had grown too weak to swim. His last words before going under in the frigid waters were "Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus and you will be saved."

Does Hollywood remember this man? No. Oh well, no matter. This servant of God did what he had to do. While other people were trying to buy their way onto the lifeboats and were selfishly trying to save their own lives, John Harper gave up his life so that others could be saved. John Harper knew what it meant to live life with urgency.

The Window ...

A young couple moved into a new house. The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the washing outside. "That laundry is not very clean; she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better detergent.” Her husband looked on, remaining silent.

Every time her neighbor hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments. A month later, the young woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she’s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?" The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."

And so, it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look. So don’t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity or unfulfilled desires.

"Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are."

Becoming ....

Me: Hey God.

God: Hello.

Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together?

God: I would rather not.

Me: Why?

God: Because you aren't a puzzle.

Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.

Me: You don't understand! I'm breaking down!

God: No - you don't understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren't falling apart. You are falling into place. Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don't need any more to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don't fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the very best pieces of you.

Me: I'm scared of changing.

God: I keep telling you - YOU AREN'T CHANGING!! YOU ARE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you have decided to adorn yourself with that you cling to with such greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you. I love you! Don't change! ... Become! Become! Become who I made you to be. I'm going to keep telling you this until you remember it.

Me: There goes another piece.

God: Yep. Let it be.

Me: So ... I'm not broken.

God: Of course Not! - but you are breaking like the dawn. It's a new day.

We All Need a Tree!!

Hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit, and his ancient one-ton truck refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation. His face was wreathed in smiles, and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree, and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. ‘Oh, that's my trouble tree,' he replied 'I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children.  So, I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.' 'Funny thing is,' he smiled, when I come out in the morning to pick them up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before.

I Choose ...

It’s quiet. It’s early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is coming. In a few moments the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising of the sun.

The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day. The calm of solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the human race. The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to be met.

For the next twelve hours I will be exposed to the day’s demands. It is now that I must make a choice. Because of Calvary, I’m free to choose. And so, I choose.

I choose love. No occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants bitterness. I choose love. Today I will love God and what God loves.

I choose joy. I will invite my God to be the God of circumstance. I will refuse the temptation to be cynical the tool of the lazy thinker. I will refuse to see people as anything less than human beings, created by God. I will refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to see God.

I choose peace. I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live. I choose patience. I will overlook the inconveniences of the world. Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I’ll invite Him to do so. Rather than complain that the wait is too long, I will thank God for a moment to pray. Instead of clinching my fist at new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage.

I choose kindness. I will be kind to the poor, for they are alone. Kind to the rich, for they are afraid. And kind to the unkind, for such is how God has treated me.

I choose goodness. I will go without a dollar before I take a dishonest one. I will be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before I accuse. I choose goodness.

I choose faithfulness. Today I will keep my promises. My debtors will not regret their trust. My associates will not question my word. My wife will not question my love. And my children will never fear that their father will not come home.

I choose gentleness. Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice, may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself. I choose self-control. I am a spiritual being. After this body is dead, my spirit will soar. I refuse to let what will rot, rule the eternal.

I choose self-control. I will be drunk only by joy. I will be impassioned only by my faith. I will be influenced only by God. I will be taught only by Christ. I choose self-control. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful-ness, gentleness, and self-control. To these I commit my day.

If I succeed, I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek His grace. And then, when this day is done, I will place my head on my pillow and rest.

Joshua 24:15 ...  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Science ...

Science says we need at least four basic elements to survive.

1. Water

2. Air

3. Food

4. Light

Look what the Bible tells us about the LORD:

1. I am the Living Water. (John 7:38)

2. I am the Breath of Life. (Genesis 2:7)

3. I am the Bread of Life. (John 6:35)

4. I am the Light of the World. (John 8:12)

Science is correct.  We need Jesus to live!

John 11:25-26 ...  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Lessons Fron a Christmas Tree

1. Be light in the darkness.

 2. We all fall over sometimes.

 3. You can never wear too much glitter.

 4. Bring joy to others.

 5. Sparkle and twinkle as often as possible.

 6. It's okay to be a little tilted.

1.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

2. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

3. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.  Isaiah 61:10

4. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;  Romans 12:10

5. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  Isaiah 60:1

6. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.  2 Corinthians 12:10

"One Day"

One day Paul was killing Christians, the next day he was a Christian.

One day Peter was a fisherman, the next day he was a fisher of men.

Don’t judge someone based on that one day.

If God can create the whole world in six days,

He can surely create a new heart in one.

The Old Farmer's Prayer

A pastor asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast. "Lord, I hate buttermilk", the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going.

The farmer loudly proclaimed, "Lord, I hate lard." Now the pastor was growing concerned. Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, "And Lord, you know I don't much care for raw white flour."

The pastor once again opened an eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn't the only one to feel uncomfortable.

Then the farmer added, "But Lord, when you mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So, Lord, when things come up that we don't like, when life gets hard, when we don't understand what you're saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits. Amen."

I Asked God ...

I asked God to take away my habit. God said, no. It is not for me to take away but for you to give it up.

I asked God to heal my handicapped son. God said no. His spirit is whole his body is only temporary.

I asked God to give me patience, but God said no. Patience is a by-product of tribulations. It isn't granted it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness, but God said no. I give you blessings happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain, but God said no. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow but God said no. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you and make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life, but God said no. I will give you a life so you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me love others as He has loved me. God said ah, now you have the idea.

The day is yours don't throw it away.
