Yes, The Lord is Coming Again!!

There is a popular belief that the end times happened in 70AD. There is literally NO PROOF Jesus returned already. This is from the enemy to get people relaxed and not looking. Do NOT be deceived by Preterism!

[William Tyrone Jackson II]

The Babylonian Books of The Present Day!

The history of that human ignorance which calls itself "philosophy", is absolutely identical with the history of fools! If ones were to write the history of folly, he would have to give several chapters to philosophy, and those chapters would be more revealing than any others.

Beware of the Babylonian books of the present day! The truth of God is the only treasure for which we seek, and the Scripture is the only field in which we dig for it! If you keep close to the inspired book, you can suffer no harm; you are at the fountainhead of all moral and spiritual good. This is fit food for the people of God; this is the bread which nourishes the highest life.

The prayerful study of the Word is not only a means of instruction, but an act of devotion wherein the transforming power of grace is often exercised changing us into the image of Christ, of whom the Word is a mirror.

Within the Scripture, there is a balm for every wound, a salve for every sore. Oh, the wondrous power in the Scripture to create a heart of hope, within the ribs of despair! Amidst sharp and strong temptations, and fierce and bitter trials the Word of the Lord has preserved us. Amidst discouragements which damped our hopes, and disappointments which wounded our hearts our Bibles have brought us a secret, unconquerable consolation.

There is no true doctrine which has not been fruitful in good works. Payson wisely said, "If there is one fact, one doctrine, or promise in the Bible, which has produced no practical effect upon your temper or conduct be assured that you do not truly believe it."

The "doctrines of grace" produce a fine morality, a stern integrity, a delicate purity,
a devout holiness, consecration in life, calm resignation in the hour of suffering,
joyful confidence in the article of death. This must be a true gospel, which can produce such lives as these!

[Charles H. Spurgeon]

2 Timothy 2:15 ...  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Ten-Cent Store Jesus ...

Unfortunately, the ten-cent-store Jesus being preached now by many is not the Jesus that will come to judge the world.

This harmless, plastic, painted Jesus who has no spine, nor justice, nor wrath but is a soft and pliant friend to everybody; if He is the only Christ, then we might as well close our Bibles, bar our doors and make a bakery or garage out of our church buildings!

The popular Christ being preached today is not the Christ of the Bible, nor the Christ who will be our final Judge.

Jesus Christ our Lord, the Judge with the flaming eyes is the one with whom we must deal. We cannot escape it.

[A. W. Tozer]

Revelation 1:14-16 ... His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Revelation 6:15-17 ... And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? ❤

Preaching Into Heaven ...

Most ministers dare not speak hard truths, for fear of offending but it is better to offend men, than to flatter them into Hell! It has become tragically common that, no matter how a person has lived whether in open rebellion against God, mockery of His Word, or a life utterly void of repentance and faith the minister preaches him into Heaven at his funeral.  This betrayal is not merely a sentimental error it is a grievous sin against God, a deception to the living, and a dishonor to the truth of the gospel.

God has solemnly charged His ministers to proclaim the truth without fear or favor. Yet too many of them care more about their paychecks and pleasing men than in pleasing the God who sees and judges all things in truth.  They comfort the hearers with lies, rather than confront them with the solemn realities of death, judgment, and eternity. Ministers who love popularity and money more than truth, will always preach the kind of gospel that fills pews and Hell!  To tell the unconverted that they are safe while they continue in sin, is to murder their souls with a lie!

The prophet Jeremiah condemned the false prophets of his day who committed the same evil: "From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit! They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. 'Peace, peace!' they say, when there is no peace!" (Jeremiah 6:13-14) Those who mocked God and His Word while they lived are not "at peace" after they die. They are damned, and their condemnation is just.

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?" (Ezekiel 34:2) Such ministers have no true concern for the perishing people whom they teach. They do not fear God they fear man. They are like those of whom God says: "The prophets prophesy lies...and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end?" (Jeremiah 5:31) Yes, what will they do in the end when they must give their account to the all-knowing and inexorably just Judge of the universe?

Genuine love always speaks truth. A faithful minister must declare, even at a funeral, that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment!" (Hebrews 9:27) Eternity is too serious to deceive men with false hopes and lies!  May God raise up men who will proclaim His Word with holy fear and fearless faithfulness.

[Charles H. Spurgeon]

Galatians 1:10 ...  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

The Great God Entertainment!

The only power God recognizes in His Church, is the power of His Spirit. Whereas the only power actually recognized today by the majority of evangelicals, is the power of man. God does His work by the operation of the Spirit; while Christian leaders attempt to do theirs, by the power of entertainment.

Bright personality has taken the place of the Spirit's influence. But only what is done through the Holy Spirit, will abide eternally. For centuries the Church stood solidly against every form of worldly entertainment, recognizing it for what it was: a device for wasting time, a refuge from the disturbing voice of conscience, a scheme to divert attention from eternal realities. But of late she appears to have decided that if she cannot conquer the great god entertainment, then she may as well join forces with him and make what use she can of his trifles.

Christianity is so entangled with the world, that millions never guess how radically they have missed the New Testament pattern. Compromise is everywhere! Evangelical Christianity is now tragically below the New Testament standard. Worldliness is an accepted part of our way of life. Our religious mood is social, instead of spiritual. We have lost the art of genuine worship.

We are not producing holy people. Our models are successful businessmen, celebrated athletes and performers. We carry on our religious activities, after the methods of the modern advertiser. Our homes have been turned into theaters. Our desires are worldly, our literature is shallow, and our music borders on sacrilege. And scarcely anyone appears to care!

[A.W. Tozer]

Malachi 1:10 ... Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

The Exclusivity of the Gospel

In an age of religious pluralism and tolerance of error, the biblical teaching on the exclusivity of the gospel is essential, even though most people find it to be offensive. Scripture leaves no room for ambiguity: there is only one way of salvation. There are not many paths to God, nor are there multiple gospels tailored to different groups. There is but one Savior, one gospel, and one way to eternal life. The way to Heaven is not left to our choice but is revealed by God. And that way is Christ alone.

The apostle Paul, under divine inspiration, wrote with utmost clarity: "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all!" He immediately pronounced a curse upon anyone who preached a gospel contrary to the one he had delivered. (Galatians 1:6-8) There is no allowance for alternative methods of salvation. There is no second gospel for Jews, Muslims, sincere religious people, moralists, the heathen or the young. The gospel is singular, exclusive, and absolute. Jesus Himself declared the narrowness of the way when He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me!" (John 14:6)

He did not say He was A way, but THE way. Faith in Jesus and His sin-atoning death is not one option among many, but the only gospel by which sinners can be reconciled to God. Peter echoed this exclusive claim when he boldly proclaimed, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12) This one way of salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast!" (Ephesians 2:8-9)

To deny the exclusivity of the gospel, is to deny the very heart of the gospel. To suggest that sincere people in other religions can be saved apart from Jesus, is to make His sin-atoning death unnecessary, and His words untrue. It is a rejection of the only remedy for sin that God has provided. There are not fifty ways to God there is only one. The road is narrow, and it is marked with blood. Let us then stand firm, unashamed, and uncompromising in proclaiming the one true gospel the only gospel that saves.

[Charles H. Spurgeon]

Romans 1:16 ...  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Indifference to Doctrine

One great danger of the church today, consists in the rise and progress of a spirit of indifference to all doctrines and opinions in religion. A wave of latitudinarianism about theology, appears to be passing over the land. The minds of many seem utterly incapable of discerning any difference between one belief and another belief, one creed and another creed, one tenet and another tenet, one opinion and another opinion, one thought and another thought, however diverse and mutually contrary they may be!

Everything is true and nothing is false. Everything is right and nothing is wrong. Everything is good and nothing is bad if only it comes to us under the garb and name of religion. Most think that it is kind and liberal, to maintain that we have no right to think that anyone is wrong, who is earnest about his creed. We are not allowed to ask what God's truth is but what is liberal, and generous, and charitable.

Most professing Christians make cleverness and earnestness the only tests of orthodoxy in religion. Thousands nowadays seem utterly unable to distinguish things that differ. If a preacher is only clever and eloquent and earnest they think that he must be right, however strange and heterodox his sermons may be. Popery or Protestantism, an atonement or no atonement, a personal Holy Spirit or no Holy Spirit, future punishment or no future punishment they swallow it all!

Carried away by an imagined liberality and charity, they seem to regard doctrine as a matter of no importance, and to think that everybody is going to be saved and nobody is going to be lost! They dislike distinctness and think that all decided views are very wrong! These people live in a kind of mist or fog! They see nothing clearly, and do not know what they believe. They have not made up their minds about any great point in the Gospel and seem content to be honorary members of all schools of thought.

For their lives, they could not tell you what they think is truth about forgiveness of sins, or justification, or regeneration, or sanctification, or saving faith, or conversion, or inspiration, or the future state. They are eaten up with a morbid dread of doctrine. And so, they live on undecided, and too often undecided they drift down to the grave, on the broad way which leads to eternal damnation. They are content to shovel aside all disputed points as rubbish, and will tell you, "I do not pretend to understand doctrine, it is all the same in the long run." They are for a general policy of universal toleration of every doctrine.

Every school of false teaching, however extreme, is to be tolerated. They desire the Church to be a kind of Noah's Ark, within which every kind of opinion and creed shall dwell safely and undisturbed; and the only terms of admittance are a willingness to come inside and let your neighbor alone. Nothing is too absurd to concede and allow into the church, in the present mania for complete freedom of thought, and absolute liberty of opinion. The explanation of this boneless, nerveless condition of soul, is perhaps not difficult to find. The heart of man is naturally in the dark about religion--has no intuitive sense of truth and really needs divine instruction and illumination.

Besides this, the natural heart in most men hates exertion in religion. Above all, the natural heart generally likes the praise of others, shrinks from controversy, and loves to be thought charitable and liberal. The whole result is that a kind of broad religious anything's just suits an immense number of professors. Ignorance, I am compelled to say, is one of the grand dangers of professors of religion in the present day. Who does not know that such people swarm and abound everywhere? And who does not know that anyone who denounces this state of things and insists that we should be loyal to Scripture truth is regarded as a narrow, bigoted, intolerant person, quite unsuited to our times! When there is no standard of doctrine, there can be no church, but a Babel.

Let me venture to advise all true Christians to never be ashamed of holding Evangelical views. Those views, I am quite aware, are not fashionable nowadays. They are ridiculed as old-fashioned, narrow-minded, and out of date and those who hold them, are regarded as closed-minded and impractical old fossils. What the final result of the present state of things will be, I do not pretend to predict.

[J.C. Ryle]

2 Timothy 4:2-4 ... Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The Most Slippery Serpent on Earth!

Did you know that you will not find the wickedest man alive, in a night club but in a church building. He is not in prison but in the pastorate. The wickedest man alive, does not wear an orange jumpsuit he wears a three-piece suit. He does not wear handcuffs but handsome cufflinks. He doesn't traffic in drugs he traffics in the souls of men. He doesn't butcher bodies he butchers the souls of men and the truth of God. He does not sit on death row but on a church platform.

The most violent man alive, is not a terrorist but a religionist. He is not a rapist but an evangelist. He's not an atheist but a Baptist. He's not a gang member but a church member. The most dangerous man alive, doesn't even own a gun he owns a Bible. The most treacherous man on earth, is not a vulgar man of ill-repute but respectable, kind and well-polished.  He won't cuss you he'll bless you. He will not speak of profane things but of holy things.

The vilest man on earth, will not talk to you about filth but about God. The most deceitful man alive, doesn't spend his time devising acts of terrorism but preparing sermons. The most violent criminal in the world, doesn't even break the law he keeps the law. The most slippery serpent on earth, will not be found in the gutter but in the pulpit. The deadliest man in the world, is not in organized crime but in organized religion. The wickedest man alive, is not a pimp but a Pharisee. The most perverse man on earth, is not a pornographer but a theologian.

Mark it down, and never forget it: The wickedest, vilest, most deceptive, most deadly, most treacherous, blood-thirsty villain alive is not a criminal, a porn addict, a pervert, a pedophile or a pusher he's a preacher!

The wickedest man alive is a wolf but he is no ordinary wolf. He is a wolf who looks, smells, talks, walks, and acts just like a sheep! He says he wants to help you, to guide you to the Lord. And therein lies the greatness of his wickedness, the treachery of his speech, and the poison of his sting!

[Frank Hall]

Matthew 7:15 ... Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

2 Corinthians 11:13-14 ... For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Acts 20:28-29 ... Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. ❤

Listen To The Son...

I marvel at the sad reality that many Christians that have spent a lifetime attending Church and yet have never been taught the most important lesson of all; learning how to identify God’s voice and be led by the Holy Spirit. The entire Bible, front to back, highlights the critical need for the child of God to ‘obey’ the voice of God. Jesus says, “My Sheep know My voice and they follow Me.” (John 10:27) Paul underscores who the real Children of God are when he states, “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the Children of God.” (Romans 8:14)

Over the years somehow, we have been sold the false idea that, “Those who attend Church and pay tithes are real Christians.” Do we not realize, just as corruption has infiltrated our political system, school system, justice system and medical system, it has also infiltrated our ‘religious system’. Men of corrupt minds and motives (not all), that have created a pastor dependent system that guarantees for them a perpetual growing income for them. But is this what God intended? We see the answer when we see Peter, James and John on the Mount of Transfiguration where man’s knee jerk reaction to the glory of God is, “We should build (churches, tabernacles, tents) ...”

God the Father sharply rebukes Peter for this line of thinking and says what? “After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell face down in terror.” (Matthew 17:1-6)

How can we be led by the Spirit of God if we are never taught how to distinguish God’s voice? Evidently, they are not teaching this in seminary, and then no wonder we have churches scattered across the globe that are not bearing fruit. They have hired and followed those with ‘degrees’ when God made it clear The Way is through Jesus Himself. Not the pastor! Jesus said, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29)

Again, in John 14:26 Jesus says, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John underscores this critical truth by writing, “As for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving your insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” (1 John 2:37 AMP)

Am I saying to ‘not allow’ apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to help equip us? No! But I will say that learning God’s voice and listening and obeying His leading is without a doubt the MAJOR lesson God wants each of us to master.

Everything else is minor compared to that single greatest lesson.

Universal is Meaningless

The angel's message to Joseph was a message of grace, redemption and salvation to sinners. By God's command, He was named, "JESUS," Savior, because He was sent by God to save His people from their sins. What He is called, that He is Jesus, our Savior. The Lord Jesus came into the world to save "His people" from their sins. Those He came to save were His people before He came to save them, His by eternal election.

There are some people in this world, an elect multitude, chosen in Him before the world began, who are peculiarly and distinctively His people, the objects of His everlasting love, chosen in Him unto salvation (Ephesians 1:2-6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13).

The Lord Jesus Christ is an almighty, effectual Savior! He saves His people from the penalty of their sin by His blood atonement, the dominion of their sins by His regenerating Spirit, the being of their sins when He takes them out of this world, all the evil consequences of their sins in resurrection glory!

Universal love, universal grace, and universal redemption is meaningless love, meaningless grace, and meaningless redemption. To preach such, is to preach a meaningless gospel, a meaningless god, and a meaningless savior!

[Don Fortner]

Matthew 1:21 ... And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Foolish Babble

Unexpected money is not about to hit your bank account. Regardless of how often you decreed something, it doesn't mean it's coming to pass, either! Stop listening to foolish babble by crackpot prophets and dingbat preachers, and instead, get a job. It really does pay to be employed. Regardless of what this phony, baloney preachers might tell you, God will not send angels to feed, clothe, or supply you with millions of dollars. Wealth comes from work, education, and staying committed to a path leading to prosperity. It's not going to come because you sowed a seed by faith or believed some random utterance by someone who is in desperate need of therapy. The church today is drunk on stupid. And we fix that by praying for common sense and wisdom. The next time a prophet (so-called) or prophetess tells you, "thus sayeth the Lord," ask them why God hasn't told them to get a real job?

[Christopher Gregory]

Acts 20:28-29 ... Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Narcissistic Pastors and Psychopath Preachers

Narcissistic Pastors and Psychopath Preachers; And how to identify them.

The DSM-5 identifies a narcissist as an individual that:
1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance.
2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
3. Believes he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people.
4. Has a sense of entitlement.

Traits in an individual who exhibits psychopath tendencies:
1. Superficial charm.
2. Puffed-up ego.
3. Shallow emotions.
4. A history of improper conduct.
5. History of contradictions.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-7, Paul speaks about character traits that borderline someone we deem a narcissist or a psychopath. These men love themselves, love money, are proud, boast a lot, are unthankful, and unholy. Unfortunately, television (in the past) and now, with the massive media of the internet and social media, we can see many who are in ministry who reflect these traits, but what's even worse is that they continue to gain a large following.

Here are just a few traits or markers that might help the reader identify one of these personality types:
They declare that they hear from God almost daily.
They have continued revelation that only they can receive.
They boast of miracles unseen and provide little to no evidence.
They encourage a financial seed to be sown and curse those who reject their demand for payment.
They have little time for the public and hide behind their associates.
They are secret. Their lives are secret. Their beliefs are equally secret.
They seek control over their congregation in all areas of their lives and use the teaching of a "covering" as their method of operation.
They never let their guard down, even in a social setting.
They are obsessed with being the center of attention.
They will never be challenged when it comes to doctrine or beliefs.
They are fleshly and will attract women to flirt with.
They are temperamental and easily argumentative.
They demand allegiance and will manipulate those whom they cannot intimidate. They have no genuine love for the poor, the weak, or the hurting.

The church is sadly filled with these types of character traits within many pulpits throughout the nation. Examine everything and everyone who comes in the name of God.

[Christopher Gregory]

Tithing is a False Gospel

Tithing is an old covenant practice related exclusively to Israelites in the land of Israel. It is not applicable or binding on believers in Christ today.  Tithing will in fact hinder our provision from Christ by trusting in law-based rule keeping rather than the blessing that belongs to us in Christ as a provision of the finished work of the cross freely given by grace through faith.

[message from the Internet]

Pastors, you preach tithing because why?  To get more wealth?  Stop preaching tithing.  It's false.

Colossians 2:14-15 ... Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Hebrews 10:9-10 ... Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.  By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

2 Corinthians 9:7 ...  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. ❤

Slot Machine Gospel

God is not a slot machine where he guarantees that every request is promised, every prayer answered in affirmative, and every step of supposed faith is correct. Sometimes God says no, sometimes prayers or seed sown were in vain. Sorry that the charismatic mania and sadly still, many leaders in the Pentecostal community have made the gospel out to be nothing more than a slick Price is Right gospel.  It’s not.

Sometimes a change in life is required, or getting a new job, or furthering one’s education. I’m not suggesting that one should never ask for anything, I’m just saying be sensible.

And for goodness sakes, stop listening to preachers who make a salary of a Fortune 500 company CEO!

[Christopher Gregory]

2 Timothy 4:3-4 ... For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. ❤

Prosperity Preachers

Did God not call you to work?

The apostle Paul labored throughout his ministry until he went to prison as a tentmaker. Paul, from what we read in scripture, owned a small business. Why did Paul do this? Because he desired, he would not take from those who were already suffering economically. Paul worked with his own hands to earn what was needed to pay for his ministry.  We also have a small glimpse into Paul's economic costs as Paul had to offset the costs for paper, personal expenses, and paying someone to carry the same letters he would write to the churches; those were economic costs that he alone paid for. Why? Because Paul did not want to become a burden on the churches.  That's not to suggest that Paul never took gifts from the local body, but he never desired it either. Again, because Paul understood the principles of work.

Sadly, that is a far cry from today's religious capitalism run amuck today in our church culture. Recently, I watched a well-known "preacher" who called her people, and those who were watching, to sow a seed of 3,000 dollars. If you did the math, just 100 people alone from an audience of over a million would generate $300,000 in income, tax-free. That's just 100 people! Imagine if the number of people hoodwinked to give the same amount was 35,000? That's a lot of money. Sadly still, that's a lot of foolish people. This is the problem with people today who have taken ministry as the "get rich" road to economic freedom, but it comes at the cost of those who never truly find God's blessing.

Only the well-dressed, charismatic scripture-quoting or social media influencer gets wealthy. Ask those YouTube and TikTok influencers if they trusted God enough to demonetize their channel; they won't because greed is good. In over 35 countries where Ruth and I have traveled, I have seen the influence of the greed gospel slowly infiltrate into poorer, developing countries because someone learned the tricks of the trade to manipulate the people into giving to get. In Africa alone, the American church has given over 4 trillion dollars in aid to the large continent, and what do we have to show for it? More economic disparity. Same with India, Pakistan, and other nations trying to sustain their people through genuine economic growth and development. But what is the continued hindrance in many of these nations? The church and its message of greed.

This notion of not having to work for a living has ruined many small churches because the pastor (in America) doesn't want to hold a secular job. And who suffers for it? The church itself. Most, if not all, of these well-known television mega ministries have done a disservice to young men and women today because they have projected an idea that says the ministry is better than service. Yes, some people will do very well financially in their gimmick, but it comes at a price, like winning the lotto. Because to sustain their wealth, they must keep doing bigger gimmicks and preach in churches large and small to keep the money flowing.

Yes, pastoring is hard. The struggle to build is equally harder, but it should not come at the cost of the people who will earnestly give their last dollar because they truly love God and his work. They will be blessed, but the preacher who took it under false pretenses will suffer the greater loss. Guaranteed. Get a job.

Matthew 16:11-12 ... How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?  Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

2 Peter 3:17 ...  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. ❤

Wilkerson's Revelation

The late David Wilkerson stated something many years ago that I had always taken with particular interest when he spoke of something God had revealed about the state of the church in the latter years just before the end of days. David spoke of the rise of a new type of Jesus which would result in a new kind of Christianity that would challenge the past and signify a new era of spirituality. David also stated that this new type of Jesus would come on the heels of a strange revival that would be hype, signs and wonders, and little of doctrine. People would become seekers of experience, gathering toward anything that gave them a sensation but never truly changed.

David said that this would begin rebuilding a new type of "super church," which would eventually lead to a global unification of all religions. We can see this happening now. The world and the church are conditioned for the greatest spectacle of deception known to man, and like moths to the flame, we run to it. The Pentecostal movement I grew up with is dead, hijacked by charismatic chaos, which has invaded many today.

Still, as David stated in one of his prophecies concerning the last era of movements, it's been designed to be. We now seek after gold dust and spirit clouds in churches, take pictures of them, and call it a "sign." Strange manifestations and erratic behaviors it's all part of this new movement that is creating a new type of Jesus. This is not a Calvinist or reformed conspiracy; this is simply part of a more deceptive plan by the growing darkness in our world. It's by design. But few are listening. And that, too, is by design.

Stop being led by emotions, stop chasing wildfire, and start paying attention to our world. And most of all, stop coddling other faiths! Latter days, not end of days. Then a great falling away will come, not an end-time revival.

[Christopher Gregory]

2 Thessalonians 2:3 ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Timothy 4:3 ...  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Matthew 24:24 ... For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ❤

"Jesus Movement"

For now, close to 30 years, we’ve been given the message of the cross in almost every conceivable way possible. Yet no major move of God. We have been told time and time again by prophets and apostles of the “big shift” that was coming to our churches. And yet no shifting has come. Our youth have been told of another “Jesus Movement” is dawning and how this generation is hungry for God. Even a pastor stated recently that the world is finally hungry for a move of God. And of course, “it’s coming”.

Here in Indiana, we had Revive Indiana, where a supposed global awakening was supposed to occur and spread across the nation to bring the promised revival. That was 8 years ago. Nothing has changed.

The church has been hoodwinked, bamboozled, charmed by every gimmick known to man, and still if someone says “it’s coming” people will drop everything to follow the seductive tune being played. We’ve been given the message and yet we can’t even get people to come to church. And speaking of church; attendance is lower now than it has ever been pre-Covid. We are biblically illiterate.

And as for another “Jesus Movement” within our youth, the current statistics reflect that this same youth are more liberal than previous generations. They embrace Socialism. They are open to same-sex marriage. And they are open to other paths to God. We promise revival but deliver nothing. Why? Because a revival does not fall into our schedule of events.

The church today speaks in tongues, crowds the altar every Sunday, boasts in their signs and wonders, and still the world around us grows worse, wickedness abounds, and violence keeps building. But yet we had “church” the other night. More churches today are closing their doors instead of opening new ones. Pastors are retiring in greater number today than in the past and churches are forced to close because they can’t fill the vast positions because most don’t want the job. Scandals plague our body like a virus while the prophets keep prophesying falsely.
And yet we shrug it off and go about our business.

I’m not a pessimist. I’m a realist. Because I understand that God and his word remains true. Even in the midst of chaos and confusion, scripture stands above rhetoric. Paul warned Timothy that toward the end there would be no great awakening. No end time revival. Paul said it would be lovers of pleasure, proud and haughty men, followers of self as well as perversion. Jeremiah stood before the prophet of his day and said not 7 years but 70. He was slapped for it.

All I’m saying is, be like Noah.

[Christopher Gregory]

Hebrews 11:7 ... By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
