God's True Grace

But if we attend to what the Bible says of grace, we shall discover that the True Grace of God is different from what man conceives. Instead of its being an enemy to holiness grace is the root on which holiness grows, the fountain from which holiness springs, and the principle that produces holiness in the heart. 

True grace brings home the Word with power, conviction, and demonstration to the soul! Acts 14:3 

True grace works faith in the hearts of poor sinners, who are said "to believe through grace!" Acts 18:27 

True grace calls its objects out of a state of nature, sin, and rebellion against God and teaches them to pray, and mourn before the Lord! Galatians 1:15; Zechariah 12:10 

True grace makes obedient to the faith and leads the soul to receive "grace upon grace" out of the fullness of Jesus! Romans 1:5; John 1:16 

True grace destroys the love and dominion of sin and leads us from the law to the gospel! Romans 6:14 

True grace brings home a sense of pardon to the soul and imparts everlasting consolation! Ephesians 1:7; 2 Thessalonians 2:16 

True grace removes condemnation, and justifies us freely, fully, and eternally! Romans 3:24; Titus 3:7 

True grace strengthens, supports, and carries the Christian through all his conflicts, tribulations, and trials! 2 Corinthians 12:9 

True grace builds up and establishes its possessor in truth, in faith, and in love! Acts 20:32; Hebrews 13:9 

True grace leads to holy, scriptural, and consistent practice! Titus 2:11-15 

True grace will make a man labor for God and the good of immortal souls! 1 Corinthians 15:10 

True grace will regulate his lifestyle according to gospel precepts! 2 Corinthians 1:12 

True grace will make him generous and liberal in the Lord's cause, and to the poor! 2 Corinthians 8:1-7; 9:6-14 

True grace flows in abundance, saves all its objects, and raises them to reign in life! Romans 5:17; Ephesians 2:6-8 

True grace is always a gift and is invariably free! Romans 11:6; Ephesians 4:7 

True grace communicates more and more to its possessor, until the victory and conquest is complete! James 4:6 

The man that possesses the True Grace of God and is living under its sacred influence mourns over his state as a sinner, longs for perfection as a believer, and cannot be perfectly happy until purged from all pollution.

How Will I Vote?

No Way Out!!

 There are many ways to get into Hell.

"For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." Matthew 7:13

There is only one way to avoid Hell.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

There is no way to get out of Hell.
"They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever!" Revelation 20:10

"They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power!" 2 Thessalonians 1:9

Who's Your Real Shepherd?

This question may be the most important question any of us can ask ourselves. It’s not only a matter of good vs evil, life vs. death, it’s a matter of eternal heaven vs eternal hell. There is only One True Shepherd of the human soul, all other voices need to be sifted and wisely identified. Knowing The Good Shepherd’s voice is not a disposable option for the true Christian. It is literally the distinguishing feature of being one of ‘His Sheep’. Jesus says, “My Sheep know My voice and they follow Me (John 10:27) and a strangers voice they will not follow.” (John 10:5)

KNOWING is the first and foundational part being a Christian. Knowing is more important than going simply because it is key to being led by the actual Holy Spirit of God. If we miss this 1st Love, we can easily ‘go’ in the wrong spirit. It is also important to note that every demon in hell wants to ‘enter and take their seat in the temple of God’(you)) and proclaim that he/she/they/it ‘is’ God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4) 

Demons feel 100% comfortable in religious circles and using religious labels, even using scripture to deceive the naive into being led by them instead of God. If they can pervert the Christian experience, destroy your faith in God, shipwreck your faith and get you to blame it on God, when all along it was deceiving spirits taking full advantage of your lack of mature discernment…then hell gets a victory. It is also important to note that familiar spirits speak through ((family members)), fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers. If those family members are not led by the Holy Spirit and A LOVE of the Truth, you can be sure they are being led by some level of blind darkness and demons of every sort. 

Often it is the influence of multiple spirits(attitudes), like we see in Luke 8:2, “Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;” or in Mark 5:9, “Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” Demons often come in packs. Demons want to harm, pervert, twist, deceive, kill, steal and destroy, not only the human soul, mind, body and spirit, they want to disrupt and devestate the atmosphere of LOVE. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and becoming ((daily)) familiar with the Word of God, the Ways of God, the character of God, including the many nuances of His loving voice and presence is what makes you [become] one of His true sheep. Learning how to distinguish and recognize voices of all types is just as key as valuing His voice more than any other voice on earth. Gaining the skillful discernment and wisdom to identify blind, ignorant, unbelieving self-talk, arrogance, bitterness, manipulation and control, as well as all manner of demonic chatter, even when being cloaked in twisted scripture or sacrificial religious concepts. 

These voices can echo in your own head, which can often come as self-talk, or they can come through friends or close family members. These thoughts can quickly lead to powerful feelings that compel us to do something rash, disharmonious, awkward, foolish or harmful. It is most important to look at the most powerful and influential voices in our life. Where are they coming from? What is the state of their walk with God? Are they filled and led by the Holy Spirit? Do they love Truth? Do they love the things of God?? Does this make sense? Nothing on earth is more important than getting this lesson right. God’s Sheep “WILL NOT FOLLOW” demonic voices. 

Even if they have been familiar spirits speaking through generations of family members. Learning to say, “HELL NO” to these deceiving influences is part of walking in godliness, righteousness and moral courage. Today… let us honestly evaluate the voices we are allowing to influence us. Turning away from evil influences of every sort and turning to and (((tuning into))) the voice of The Good Shepherd is the only way to truly LIVE.

Why Unbelievers Hate God's Word!

The real reason why unbelievers hate God's Word, is because they will not part with those sins which His Word condemns! Nor will they practice those holy duties which the Word commands! If they were willing to renounce their sins, they would find the Word of God to be precious and delightful to them, as an inexhaustible ocean of encouragement! 

But unbelievers hate to hear of: the wickedness of their hearts, the insufficiency of their best works to bring them to God, the impossibility of being saved without an entire dependence on the sin-atoning merits of Christ, the necessity an unreserved surrender to His will as seen in Scripture. Their pride and self-sufficiency are insurmountable obstacles to the proper reception of Scriptural instruction. They hate to be told that they are spiritually wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked before a holy God! 

They abhor to walk in the path of the righteous. They simply will not forsake the path of sin, which infallibly leads to destruction! It is in vain that the Scripture shows them the only genuine way to Heaven. They will never forsake that broad road of sin which inevitably leads to damnation! 

Between God and the unbeliever who perishes in his sins, there is a great gulf fixed a gulf that never can be passed. Once entered into the eternal world, the unbeliever has his state fixed forever! The man who dies unbelieving and impenitent, will bewail his folly in irremediable and everlasting misery!

The Absolute Necessity of Experimental Religion!

The religion of the Lord Jesus is valuable only as its power is experienced in the heart. In this respect, and in this only, it may be compared to the physical sciences, which, however ingenious in structure, or beautiful in theory yet, if not reduced or reducible to purposes of practical use, are of little worth. 

It is so with the truth of Jesus. The man of mere taste may applaud its external beauty, the philosopher may admire its ethics, the orator may admire its eloquence, and the poet may admire its sublimity but if the Spirit of God does not take His own truth, and impress it upon the heart, as to the great design of its revelation it avails nothing! 

What numbers there are who rest in the mere 'theory' of Christianity! But as a practical principle they know nothing of it. As a thing experienced in the heart it is a hidden mystery to them. They speak well of Christianity as a religious system; they believe its Divinity, and even defend its doctrines and extol its precepts yet make no approaches towards a personal and practical obedience to its claims. 

In a word, they know nothing of repentance towards God, and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ. It will surely appear to a spiritually enlightened mind, a subject of vast and solemn importance that this delusion should be exposed that this foundation of sand should be undermined; and that the absolute necessity of experimental religion, as necessary to an admission within the kingdom of glory, be strenuously and scripturally enforced!

The Coming Future

During Noah's generation (2400BC), the world population stood between 4-10 billion. In that entire length of time, God found no one righteous; in other words, no single human living during that period served God except for Noah, who scripture states were unblemished and a preacher. 

The world was evil, ruled by evil beings. This gives us two ideas to consider:

1. Noah remained faithful to God while the world (inhabitants) rejected God.

2. Jesus refers back to Noah to give us a glimpse of OUR world in the coming future, where something significant will occur that will make Christianity and all other religions currently - nonexistent. 

This explains why we see subtle cracks in the faith today, with young people beginning to depart the faith as we move deeper into the 21st century.

Universal is Meaningless

The angel's message to Joseph was a message of grace, redemption and salvation to sinners. By God's command, He was named, "JESUS," Savior, because He was sent by God to save His people from their sins. What He is called, that He is Jesus, our Savior. The Lord Jesus came into the world to save "His people" from their sins. Those He came to save were His people before He came to save them, His by eternal election. 

There are some people in this world, an elect multitude, chosen in Him before the world began, who are peculiarly and distinctively His people, the objects of His everlasting love, chosen in Him unto salvation (Ephesians 1:2-6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13). 

The Lord Jesus Christ is an almighty, effectual Savior! He saves His people from the penalty of their sin by His blood atonement, the dominion of their sins by His regenerating Spirit, the being of their sins when He takes them out of this world, all the evil consequences of their sins in resurrection glory! 

Universal love, universal grace, and universal redemption is meaningless love, meaningless grace, and meaningless redemption. To preach such, is to preach a meaningless gospel, a meaningless god, and a meaningless savior!

Growing Smaller

96% of Americans no longer hold a biblical worldview, post-Covid (Barna). Among young people who identify traditionally as born-again, the numbers are declining as well as of 2023. The impact of education, arts, and entertainment, and our changing society make it clear that regardless of what we might hope will change (for the better) is actually getting worse. 

As I had stated many times before, our numbers are growing smaller. By 2050 we won't recognize the church as it is today.

Wilkerson's Revelation

The late David Wilkerson stated something many years ago that I had always taken with particular interest when he spoke of something God had revealed about the state of the church in the latter years just before the end of days. David spoke of the rise of a new type of Jesus which would result in a new kind of Christianity that would challenge the past and signify a new era of spirituality. David also stated that this new type of Jesus would come on the heels of a strange revival that would be hype, signs and wonders, and little of doctrine. People would become seekers of experience, gathering toward anything that gave them a sensation but never truly changed. 

David said that this would begin rebuilding a new type of "super church," which would eventually lead to a global unification of all religions. We can see this happening now. The world and the church are conditioned for the greatest spectacle of deception known to man, and like moths to the flame, we run to it. The Pentecostal movement I grew up with is dead, hijacked by charismatic chaos, which has invaded many today. 

Still, as David stated in one of his prophecies concerning the last era of movements, it's been designed to be. We now seek after gold dust and spirit clouds in churches, take pictures of them, and call it a "sign." Strange manifestations and erratic behaviors it's all part of this new movement that is creating a new type of Jesus. This is not a Calvinist or reformed conspiracy; this is simply part of a more deceptive plan by the growing darkness in our world. It's by design. But few are listening. And that, too, is by design. 

Stop being led by emotions, stop chasing wildfire, and start paying attention to our world. And most of all, stop coddling other faiths! Latter days, not end of days. Then a great falling away will come, not an end-time revival.

God Loves You Perfectly

God is a God of forgiveness. He knows you perfectly and still loves you perfectly. We are slaves to the idea that if someone sees our flaws, they won’t love us anymore. Well, while that may be true in human relationships, God is not like that. God sees all our imperfections, failings, and flaws on Jesus at the cross. Our sins and ugliness do not turn Him off. In fact, to Him they are occasions to demonstrate His grace and forgiveness through the blood of His Son, who has removed all our sins efficaciously at Calvary. So don’t be embarrassed about your flaws, mistakes, and imperfections. God knows your weaknesses better than you do, and He loves you just the same. 

His Word reminds us that Jesus is not someone “who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses.” Instead, Jesus was tempted in all points, yet He was without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) He understands every temptation and every trial that you are going through. He is not disappointed with you, and He is not waiting for you to live up to a set of dos and don’ts before He forgives and loves you. The Bible says, But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (Romans 5:8–9). 

Did you get that? When did God love you? That’s right, when you were still a sinner. Before you even knew Him, when you were still in sin, He already loved you. How much more today, when you have been cleansed by Jesus’ blood and made righteous! Having received Jesus’ righteousness, you are righteous forever. Even when you fall into sin, your sins don’t make you a sinner again. When you fall short today, you are still the righteousness of God. This is because your righteousness comes from Jesus. In the same way that a beautiful butterfly cannot morph back into a caterpillar, once you have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus, you cannot morph back into a sinner. Knowing your righteous identity in Him then gives you the power to overcome every sin, every addiction, and every bad habit!

Pastors.

42% of pastors are burned out and are contemplating quitting the ministry in a new study released by Barna. That is a sharp rise since just one year ago when the number was around 23%. 

What’s causing pastors to quit their vocation? Stress. Christ spoke of a time yet to come where Christianity will be significantly decreased in size when he returns. Meaning that at some point in the future there will come a significant departure from the faith. 42% is a tremor to what is coming.

The Secret of Life

A father used to say to his children when they were young: When you all reach the age of 12, I will tell you the secret of life. One day when the oldest turned 12, he anxiously asked his father what the secret of life was. The father replied that he was going to tell him, but that he should not reveal it to his brothers. 

The secret of life is this: The cow does not give milk. "What are you saying?" Asked the boy incredulously.  As you hear it, son: The cow does not give milk, you have to milk it. You have to get up at 4 in the morning, go to the field, walk through the corral full of manure, tie the tail, hobble the legs of the cow, sit on the stool, place the bucket and do the work yourself. That is the secret of life, the cow does not give milk. You milk her or you don't get milk. 

There is this generation that thinks that cows GIVE milk. That things are automatic and free: their mentality is that if "I wish, I ask, I obtain."  They have been accustomed to get whatever they want the easy way.  But no, life is not a matter of wishing, asking and obtaining. The things that one receives are the effort of what one does. Happiness is the result of effort. 

Lack of effort creates frustration. So, share with your children from a young age the secret of life, so they don't grow up with the mentality that the government, their parents, or their cute little faces is going to give them everything they need in life.

The Gospel

The Gospel is good news, or glad tidings. It is sent from Heaven, proclaimed on earth, heard by sinners, and gladly embraced by those who are ordained to eternal life. 

The Gospel is the glorious glad tidings of the Blessed God! It informs us that God is love, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, that he has blessed his people with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and has given us the promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 

The Gospel is the glorious good news of Christ! It informs us:  that he is appointed and anointed to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance and the remission of sins; that he has borne our sins, suffered in our stead, and removed our transgressions by his death; that he has conquered Satan, blotted out the handwriting that was against us, and made our peace by the blood of his cross; that he now fully and eternally justifies all who believe on his name, is able to save to the uttermost all that come unto God by him, and has pledged his Word that he will cast out none that come unto him; that he has finished the transgression, made an end of sin, brought in everlasting righteousness, made reconciliation for iniquity, abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light. 

The Gospel is the glad tidings of the undeserved favor of God toward poor sinners. It sets forth grace as reigning to conquer, pardon, and justify sinners without works. It tells us how grace abounds over sin, brings us salvation, and conforms us to the precepts of Heaven. It is the good news of salvation.

The Gospel informs us that eternal redemption is obtained, a way into the holiest opened, and all condemnation removed from those who believe in Jesus.

The Tolerant Society

The stage is set, the band ready, and the players have all assembled for the big dance. Friends, mark this down, the day is now here that any church, ministry or otherwise, who speaks in a measure which is labeled as intolerant, or hateful when it comes to homosexuality, that same organization will face the wrath of a tolerant society. 

This is why I believe small churches (250 or less) won't make it in the future simply because of the fear of litigation challenges by just one individual will shutter their doors. Mid-sized churches (500-1,500) will survive for a season, but the growing demand for recognition of same-sex rights under the guise of religious hate speech will force these churches to either silence their objection to this practice, or find themselves at risk for Federal laws enacted to protect a small minority.

Even the mega-churches will have already agreed to keep silent on the matter of the gay lifestyle, simply to keep their image going of being seen as "loving", as well as tolerant in the days to come. They will have sold out for the sum price of a potters field.

Mark my words, the church will face its greatest challenge in the coming decade. And no, we will NOT be victorious in the end, because the word says that we (the church) will be hunted, persecuted and railed against by this growing movement whose sole purpose is to silence the majority, by the minority.

Revelation 13:7 … And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.❤

The Fool's Fiddle

Evil conduct is the fool's bauble, the fool's fiddle. Fools take great delight and pleasure in doing evil. Sin and wickedness are a sport or recreation to a fool. It is a great pleasure and merriment to a fool to do wickedness.

Proverbs 14:9, "Fools make a mock of sin." They make a jeer of sin which they should fear more than Hell itself, a sport of sin which will prove a matter of damnation to them,  a pastime, a game of sin which will them miserable to all eternity, a mock of sin on earth for which the devil will mock and flout them forever in Hell.

Justice will at last turn over such fools to Satan, who will be sure to return mock for mock, jeer for jeer, and flout for flout. Those who love such kind of pastime, shall have enough of it in Hell.

All unbelievers are such fools for they delight and take pleasure in sin, which is the most corrupting and dangerous thing in the world. "And so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth, but have delighted in wickedness." (2 Thessalonians 2:12)

Well, sirs! Sin is the poison of the soul, the curse of the soul, the disease of the soul, the burden of the soul! And if God in mercy does not prevent it sin will prove the eternal bane of the soul.

Oh, then, how great is their folly, who delight in sin, and who make a sport of it!

Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

2 Peter 2:13 … And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;❤

Atheistic Beliefs

Atheism has its seat in the heart, and not in the understanding. "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed." John 3:19-20

Nothing can be more evident, than that atheistic beliefs can never be embraced from reason, or conviction, or by an unbiased understanding. They are certainly adopted under the influence of the heart. They are believed only because they are loved--or because God is dreaded and hated. Thus the heart is the true source of the belief that there is no God; and he is a fool, who, governed by his desires, thus believes against all reason and evidence.

The great danger lies in the heart and in its hostility to God and His character. What we desire, we easily believe; and what we dread or hate, we easily disbelieve. As we dread the anger of God against sin, and against ourselves particularly as sinners, and all His designs to punish sin; and as we hate to renounce sin and its pleasures, we easily and naturally contrive to disbelieve God's designs, character, and existence. Especially is this the case, when God, provoked by our rebellion and opposition, gives us up to a reprobate mind.
