How Will I Vote?

I don't care about your political leanings; I do care, however, if you don't vote. Don't claim some spiritual or Christian superiority or how you see the nation as it is, but yet you fail to do your civic duty in one of the most democratic forms of governance in a free society, the ability to vote your conscience.

Vote Policies, Not Party

How you and I vote has just as much impact when it comes to prophecy as it relates to the end times as world events do. When people vote for wicked leaders, evil flourishes. When they support evil ideas, a nation reaps the same. 

God’s desire is that a nation or people support good policies that benefit the whole. Not tyrannical politicians who only care for their own interests. This is why Christian’s need to be involved in the political process, especially when the rise of corrupt men and their ideas are flooding the country today. God gives man the solution to his problems, but if we fail to yield to his direction, or we fail to get involved, then we are as much to blame for our demise as the enemy is. 

It’s your responsibility to protect our country, not your theology that supposedly grants you the right to ignore it.

Public School System

The reply I sometimes get when I speak the truth about the public education system to Christian parents; “We’re training our kids to be missionaries in the school system”. No, you’re preparing them to face unrealistic expectations within a system whose sole design is to undermine your Christian world view, and instead, indoctrinate them with their own secular values and beliefs. That’s how programming works. 

Children cannot be missionaries, or worse, expect to rationalize and defend Christian teachings when they themselves are not yet fully developed intellectually, let alone spiritually. Public schools are not a parent's friend, they are an antithesis to moral values and judgment.

No Cost of Being a Christian in America!!

I went to a church not along ago; they got thirty acres. So, what are their plans with it? They want their own football field and tennis courts. Dear God, do we go to church to learn to play tennis? God help the preachers!

We have such an accommodating Christianity today. The best title of the professing church of God today, in my judgment, is "Unbelieving Believers." There's cancer in the church tonight! At this grim hour, the world sleeps in the darkness and the Church sleeps in the light. You'll never get me to believe that the church today believes in Hell. We're a million, billion miles away from New Testament Christianity!  I doubt if 5% of professing Christians in America are born again!

Entertainment is the devil's substitute for joy. The more joy you have in the Lord, the less entertainment you need. Is the world crucified to you or does it fascinate you? The apostles had no gold, but lots of glory. We have lots of gold, but no glory. The book of Acts shows us the church before it became fat and short of breath by prosperity! Who or what takes priority over God in our lives? Where, oh, where are the eternity-conscious believers? Where are the souls white-hot for God because they fear His holy name and presence and so live with eternity's values in view?

There's no cost of being a Christian in America! I'd rather have ten people who want God than 10,000 people who want to play church!

Created Equal

The Founders did indeed consider abortion when they proclaimed that people are created equal, not born equal, and they are then endowed with a right to life.

Roe V. Wade

Those without a voice have rights.

Bottom line, Godly people are happy that the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe. V. Wade.  

Ungodly people are not.

Perseverance!!

 This man was born in 1809.

In 1816, at age 7, he was forced to work because his family was expelled.

In 1818, he lost his mother.

In 1828, he lost his sister.

In 1831, he opened his first business and went bankrupt.

In 1832, he stood in the legislative elections and lost.

In 1833, he borrowed money to open another business and went bankrupt again.

In 1835, he met a wonderful woman. He falls in love with her, they get engaged, and she dies.

In 1836, he entered a dark period of his life: deep depression.

He remains bedridden for 6 consecutive months. But he gets up.

He gets up and in that same year of 1836 he runs in the legislative elections and loses again.

In 1840 he presented himself as an elector; he loses.

In 1842, he met the woman he would end his life with.

They fall in love, get engaged, get married and she gives him 4 children and they lose 3 (three).

In 1843, he appeared at the congresses and lost.

In 1845, he appeared again at the congresses and lost again.

In 1850, his son died.

In 1854, he ran for the Senate and lost.

In 1856, he ran for Vice President, he didn't even have 100 votes.

In '58, he ran again for the Senate and lost again.

And in 1860 ABRAHAM LINCOLN was elected President of the United States of America.

He was elected for two exceptional terms (he was assassinated in beginning of the second term.) He was one of the most respected and impactful Presidents in the history of the United States.

It's important to tell this story of perseverance because we see the hero, but we don't see the backstage of the afflictions. You need to accept them, no matter how difficult. Know that as long as you breathe, your goal will be waiting for you. Trust the Lord, He is fair and loving.

Religious Tolerance.

What is separation of Church and State?

The different colonies in Massachusetts and later also in Connecticut formed in reality a theocratic state. They restricted the right of voting to church members, so that nearly three-fourths of the people were excluded from the rights of free men. This naturally implied also that church members only were eligible to office. 

Taxes were levied for the support of the Gospel, and attendance on public worship was enforced by law. The laws of Moses were provisionally adopted as their civil code. Though the government was democratic, there was as yet no separation of church and state, nor religious toleration. 

While the colonies of the New England Puritans formed a theocracy, Roger Williams declared that a church merged with a state was impossible and demanded a complete separation of the two. He maintained that the civil magistrate has no right to interfere in church affairs, not even to stop a church from apostasy and heresy, and that his power extends only to the bodies, the goods and the outward estate of men. 

He claimed equal rights for believers and unbelievers in the state and opposed the citizen's oath that was required by the magistrate. All these things were subversive of the theocracy. Roger Williams was in advance of his own time. His theory of the separation of Church and State was in the main correct and is justified by history. 

The colonists denied him the right which they claimed for themselves, namely, the right to serve God according to the dictates of his own conscience. Williams stood for the fullest religious toleration.

Shipwrecked Faith.

Not only do many young people come out of the University leaning Left, but there are also thousands of young people who once identified as born again, raised in a solid, Christian home, but when they went into the University, they came out lost from their faith.

This is the unspoken problem facing the church today, yet we send unprepared Christian young people by the thousands into a secular world system who are not prepared for what they are about to face. And yet we keep bragging how we had 'church', and yet our young people are spiritually dying.

New Socialist Movement

They started with history by revising it for public schools across America to show America as a hegemony and menace to the world, and less as a beacon of hope and freedom.

Critical Race Theory was introduced as a means to suggest that America’s issue is with race, its flag seen as a symbol for oppression, and our white, European, and Christian heritage was a tool for Colonialism.

Then they came for the statues that reflected America's past achievements through explorers that proved the world was round, who had a vision for expansion, leaders such as Teddy Roosevelt, Grant, among others. Now they demand change that does not reflect their new vision of a Utopian/Marxist dream.

Eventually, they will come for the Bible itself, and under this new Socialist movement we see taking place across America, they will demand that its pages be stripped, and its message of sin and repentance be deemed archaic. That is the spirit of Antichrist at work, and the darkness the church will face sooner or later, apparently sooner it seems.
