 Pray for America!!

2 Chronicles 7:14 ... If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ❤

Return, Return!!

When in health and prosperity we often wander from God. We forget our obligation to Him and fail to realize our dependence upon Him.

Then comes God's rod at first, perhaps, a gentle stroke. If that is not heeded, then comes a heavier stroke. At length, if we still fail to pay attention to His discipline, we are not only smitten but torn!

Then we reflect, are convinced of our folly, and begin to seek after a way of escape but all is dark, dreary, and dead. We begin to sigh and groan, doubt and despond; and the more we look at our conduct, or into our hearts the lower we sink, and the more miserable we become!

We try every human means available for deliverance; but to us, they have no life, power, or savor and we are driven to self-despair.

Then a friendly voice says to us, "Come, and let us return unto the Lord!" He invites us; He is willing to receive us, and He is ready to forgive us. He will bind up our festering wounds, He will heal our wounded hearts, He will apply the cleansing blood and the healing oil and so He will cure and bring us health!

Carry, then your wounded heart to Jesus. Go to Him as torn as you are; confess your sins frankly and fully, without excuse; plead His precious promises, His loving invitations, and his atoning blood. He will speak peace to your soul and enable you to rejoice in the freeness and fullness of His forgiving love.

Remember, whatever change may have taken place in you that Jesus is the same, He has not changed! His love is as great, His mercy is as tender, His grace is as free, and His Word is as faithful, as ever!

He still says. "Come unto Me and I will give you rest!"

Help me, O Heavenly Father, to come to You when I fail. Help me to remember who You are. Heal, restore, and bless me, I pray!

Time to Pray!!

As the war in Iran rages on, experts are warning that World War III may be closer than ever. Scientists have moved the Doomsday Clock to just 85 seconds before midnight the closest it has ever been to symbolic global catastrophe.

Not surprisingly, fear and anxiety are surging. Among adults under 30, depression rates have nearly doubled since 2017. Almost one in five American adults experienced an anxiety disorder last year alone. Millions are glued to their phones, doomscrolling, constantly looking down, absorbing one alarming headline after another.

But Jesus told us to do something very different. He said, “When you see these things begin to happen, look up, for your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28)

In other words... don’t panic. Look up.

He received more than 77 million votes, the most ever by a Republican candidate as voters expressed concern that our nation is in trouble.

How Will I Vote?

 I will vote for the most pro-life candidate, because God hates the shedding of innocent blood.

Hidden in Plain Sight

Go Vote!!

I don't care about your political leanings; I do care, however, if you don't vote. Don't claim some spiritual or Christian superiority or how you see the nation as it is, but yet you fail to do your civic duty in one of the most democratic forms of governance in a free society, the ability to vote your conscience.

Vote Policies, Not Party

How you and I vote has just as much impact when it comes to prophecy as it relates to the end times as world events do. When people vote for wicked leaders, evil flourishes. When they support evil ideas, a nation reaps the same. 

God’s desire is that a nation or people support good policies that benefit the whole. Not tyrannical politicians who only care for their own interests. This is why Christian’s need to be involved in the political process, especially when the rise of corrupt men and their ideas are flooding the country today. God gives man the solution to his problems, but if we fail to yield to his direction, or we fail to get involved, then we are as much to blame for our demise as the enemy is. 

It’s your responsibility to protect our country, not your theology that supposedly grants you the right to ignore it.

Public School System

The reply I sometimes get when I speak the truth about the public education system to Christian parents; “We’re training our kids to be missionaries in the school system”. No, you’re preparing them to face unrealistic expectations within a system whose sole design is to undermine your Christian world view, and instead, indoctrinate them with their own secular values and beliefs. That’s how programming works. 

Children cannot be missionaries, or worse, expect to rationalize and defend Christian teachings when they themselves are not yet fully developed intellectually, let alone spiritually. Public schools are not a parent's friend, they are an antithesis to moral values and judgment.

No Cost of Being a Christian in America!!

I went to a church not along ago; they got thirty acres. So, what are their plans with it? They want their own football field and tennis courts. Dear God, do we go to church to learn to play tennis? God help the preachers!

We have such an accommodating Christianity today. The best title of the professing church of God today, in my judgment, is "Unbelieving Believers." There's cancer in the church tonight! At this grim hour, the world sleeps in the darkness and the Church sleeps in the light. You'll never get me to believe that the church today believes in Hell. We're a million, billion miles away from New Testament Christianity!  I doubt if 5% of professing Christians in America are born again!

Entertainment is the devil's substitute for joy. The more joy you have in the Lord, the less entertainment you need. Is the world crucified to you or does it fascinate you? The apostles had no gold, but lots of glory. We have lots of gold, but no glory. The book of Acts shows us the church before it became fat and short of breath by prosperity! Who or what takes priority over God in our lives? Where, oh, where are the eternity-conscious believers? Where are the souls white-hot for God because they fear His holy name and presence and so live with eternity's values in view?

There's no cost of being a Christian in America! I'd rather have ten people who want God than 10,000 people who want to play church!

Created Equal

The Founders did indeed consider abortion when they proclaimed that people are created equal, not born equal, and they are then endowed with a right to life.
