The reply I sometimes get when I speak the truth about the public education system to Christian parents; “We’re training our kids to be missionaries in the school system”.
No, you’re preparing them to face unrealistic expectations within a system whose sole design is to undermine your Christian world view, and instead, indoctrinate them with their own secular values and beliefs. That’s how programming works.
Children cannot be missionaries, or worse, expect to rationalize and defend Christian teachings when they themselves are not yet fully developed intellectually, let alone spiritually.
Public schools are not a parent's friend, they are an antithesis to moral values and judgment.
