Drink!!

Dear friends and cow folk,

Drink the water Jesus gives, the gift of living water. It brings eternal life!

Drink!

[Cowboys For Christ]

John‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭ ... Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

"All Things"

In a complicated situation this morning? Have a problem that there seems no way out? Romans 8:28 says, “All things work together for good for those that love the LORD.”

“All things” means even our mistakes. Even the times we blew it and got off course. GOD knows how to work it for our good. GOD has it all figured out! Give it to Him and go on about your business and watch what happens.

Oh Yeah, when He gets you out of your situation be sure take time to thank Him and pass the word about Him to others. He wants to help them to!

Suit Up!!

If it seems ole devil is constantly trying to distract you from GOD, you are right! See, if ole slew foot can’t destroy you, he’ll figure out a way to distract you. His goal is simple ... “Steal-Kill & Destroy” (John 10:10)

No doubt he is a formidable adversary but even he has weaknesses. If you pay close attention, he’s predictable and uses the same old tricks time and time again. It is up to us to stay alert so that we won't fall prey to this conniving joker. Even as busy as he is right now TRYING to take out Israel, trust me, he still has time for you. NEVER let your guard down! Don’t let anything or anyone take your focus off GOD and what GOD is doing in your life.

Many times, I’ve warned you of his ways of distraction the biggest is speaking negative depressing and tempting thoughts into your head. Please understand when he speaks it’s always a lie! John 8:44 tells us, "There is no truth in him as he is the father of lies." You can discern his voice because he plants seeds that grow into fear and doubt. Ole devil will use anything he can-past wounds idols in your life-social media play on your weaknesses using GOD given desires and even your friends. If we fall for the distractions, you could easily become ineffective in our faith. Distractions have a way of popping their ugly heads up at a time when we need to have our undivided attention on what GOD is doing with us and within us.

Proverbs 4:25 says, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your sight directly before you.” Friend-regardless of how you may feel, don't give into the feelings of frustration over things not going as you envisioned. Keeping doubt and discontent in your mind can be one of our biggest distractions and he knows it. Start your day with GOD in prayer suit up in your Spiritual Armor and declare Not Today Devil!

If you don’t set the tone for your day ole devil will gladly set it for you. I pray you have a GREAT weekend and be sure to reflect the love of JESUS in everything you say and do. GOD Bless!!

Ephesians 6:10 ...  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Let Go!!

Morning friends. I’m sitting here reflecting on a conversation I had with a very frustrated young lady. She just couldn’t figure out why God wasn’t answering her prayers. We often find ourselves asking God for healing, for deliverance, or for freedom from the pain we’re going through. Yet, how many times do we hold onto the very thing that is causing us pain? Whether it’s a toxic relationship, a sinful habit, or a mindset that keeps us trapped, we can’t truly heal while we remain loyal to what is hurting us.

In John 5, Jesus asked the paralyzed man, “Do you want to be healed?” It seems like an odd question, who wouldn’t want to be healed? But Jesus was getting to the heart of the matter. Healing requires change, and change is uncomfortable. Sometimes, we hold onto what’s familiar, even if it’s harmful, because the pain we know feels safer than the unknown healing God offers. You can’t keep begging God to heal you while refusing to let go of what’s breaking you.

James 1:8 tells us that “a double-minded person is unstable in all their ways.” You can’t ask for peace while clinging to chaos. You can’t pray for freedom while staying shackled to what enslaves you. God desires to heal you, but He also calls you to participate in that healing by surrendering what is keeping you bound.

Today, take a hard look at your life. What are you holding onto that’s preventing your healing? What are you loyal to that’s keeping you from freedom? God is ready to heal you, but it requires letting go. Trust that His plans for you are greater than anything you’re holding onto. Release what’s hurting you, and step into the wholeness He offers. True healing begins with surrender. Let go and let God.

Words To Live By ...

Look around you ><> Don’t ever forget how blessed you are. When we forget, we can become ungrateful, doubtful and surprisingly complacent. Being able to appreciate what GOD has already done will set your table of faith for what surely is to come. It will set the table for the peace and joy of the LORD in your life. It will set the table for a heart full of praise and a mind set on JESUS.

1 Thessalonians 5:18, Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how GOD wants you to live in CHRIST JESUS. Bottom line is, there are a lot of people who are a lot worse off than you or I materially and physically. If you look at from that prospective, we really have nothing to complain about. Have a great day and don’t miss a chance to tell somebody about JESUS. GOD Bless & Good Health!!

Hello God!

Hello God, I called this morning to talk a little while I need a friend who'll listen to my anxiety and trial.

You see, I can't quite make it through a day just on my own... I need your love to guide me, so I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep, my family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence for whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face each hour throughout the day, and not to worry over things I can't change in any way.
I thank you God, for being home and listening to my call, for giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one that answers every time. I never get a busy signal, never had to pay a dime.
So, thank you, God, for listening to my troubles and my sorrow. Good morning, God, I love You, too, and I'll call on you throughout the day.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Psalm 50:15 ... And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Jeremiah 33:3 ... Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Always!!

Throughout my entire life - I cannot think of a time where the LORD has let me down. Nope, not one time!

People will let you down every day, but God! Not a moment that He was not there! Not an experience occurred that when I called upon Him, He didn’t carry me through. When it was all said and done, He always brought blessings, victory, and favor into my hands.

My friends, no experience will you go through where He is not there. Just call upon Him!

The times you feel like He is there the least, they are the times He is there the most. God is right there, and He will not let you down. Not one thing God has said will He not do!

God will never stop working for your good no matter how much time goes by. If you have faith that God holds your eternity, you can have faith that He holds you every day.

The Judge.

A young lady committed a crime, and she was sent to court with her accuser. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no one available for help. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. Before the young lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman. The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman. After a long legal battle between the man and the accusers, the lady was set free.  The lady fell before the man and asked, "who are you?"

The next day the lady deliberately committed another crime and was sent to the same court. As soon as she entered the courtroom, she saw the man who interceded for her the previous day on the judgement seat. He was no longer a lawyer, but a judge. With smiles on her face the lady said. "I have come again." The man lifted his head and said, "yesterday I was a lawyer, so I fought for you, even when you were guilty. But today I am a judge, and my judgement must be fair."

With tears in her eyes, she asked for the second time, "who are you?" and the man replied, "Yesterday I was your Saviour but now I am your judge."

Today Christ Jesus is our lawyer and redeemer, but a day is coming when He will give a fair judgement to everyone.

Nature's Church

Did you ever see the mountains that are covered up with snow, or see a sun set in the West with purple afterglow?

Have you ever seen a newborn calf a-wobbling to its feet, and though it's only minutes old it knows just where to eat?

You can't climb upon a saddle horse and cross the prairie sod, or see an eagle on the wing and not believe in God.

A cowboy doesn't worship in a building made of stone, but worships with his Maker out with nature all alone.

His church is in the great outdoors; the valley, heaven's gate, his favorite hymn's a coyote that is calling to its mate.

He makes his own communion as a choir of songbirds sing, as he cups his hands and drinks the fresh cold water from a spring.

With the budding of the springtime and with autumn's goldenrod a cowboy lives with nature and the wonders of his God.

So, when you hear a meadowlark that's singing from his perch, he's inviting you to worship with him there at Nature's Church.

~ Cowboy ~

You say I'm a cowboy; like I should be ashamed Well; I'm here to tell you, that I proudly carry the name.
I respect my elders, open doors and say sir or ma'am That's what my parents taught me; so that's the way I am.
I was taught a prayer; before a meal, should not be forgot, and I support our troops, whether I believe in the war or not.
One nation under God is how we should be known and prayer; I believe, in school it does belong.
My money should say In God We Trust, for that's what was intended. We should quit being politically correct; for its God we keep offending.
So, call me a cowboy and act as if it's a disgrace but when I go to bed at night; God smiles upon my face.

Grab Hold!!

Have no fear on this morning friends! Grab hold of the promises of God and go in His strength alone. Amen!

Dear Lord, You have brought me to the beginning of a new day. As the world is renewed fresh and clean, so I ask You to renew my heart with Your strength and purpose. Forgive me the errors of yesterday and bless me to walk closer in Your way today. This is the day I begin my life anew; shine through me so that every person I meet may feel Your presence in me. Take my hand, precious Lord for I cannot make it by myself. In Jesus' name Amen.

Two Kinds of People.

Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning, Lord."

And there are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good Lord, it's morning."

To God be the Glory, the gate is open so keep Sharing the Good News!

Cardinals ...

CARDINALS appear when ANGELS are near.

That's a poetic saying, but did y'all know that the red cardinal represents the fire and vitality of the living spirit. In addition, the cardinal is symbolic of the living blood of Christ. Both cardinals and blood have long been symbols of vitality, and in the Christian context, that vitality is everlasting. "By His blood we are freed from sin to serve the living God, to glorify Him, and to enjoy Him forever."

Traditionally, the cardinal is symbolic of life, hope and restoration. These symbols connect cardinal birds to living faith, and so they come to remind us, that though circumstances might look bleak, dark and despairing, there is always "hope."  In Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Chrismas Meaning

Some believe in Santa Claus and all the gifts he brings
But let me tell you about Jesus Christ and what Christmas truly means
One night under the Jerusalem sky, God sent His Son to Earth
There was no room inside the Inn, for Mary to give birth
The greatest gift that God could give; was turned away at the door
And yet He stands there always; to offer you life evermore.
God sent His Son that day; so we could all have peace
Not so we would worry; about things you can return with a receipt.
We get so caught up in buying; and we go into debt
That we lose the meaning of Christmas,
Which is the Son we should never forget!

[Ron L Willis]

Luke 2:7-11 … And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

The Greatest Gift

The greatest gift God gave to you was Himself, the greatest gift you can give God is yourself. The reason God gave you life is so that you would have something precious to give back to Him. The reason God gave you more than you need is so that you would have to give to those who do not have. Our God is full of compassion and He loves to give, God is thinking about you continuously all day and night, He is constantly giving to you, every breath you take is a gift from God, and the Greatest gift is that He gave His only Son.

2 Corinthians 9:15 … Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
