I Will Dance!

Lord, I will dance in Your presence, celebrating who You are with uninhibited joy, worshiping with my whole body not just my words, holding nothing back in praise.

Dancing is freedom, expression, celebration that can't be contained in stillness, and You're worthy of worship that moves, that leaps, that can't help but respond physically to Your goodness.

Teach me to worship You with abandon, to let joy overflow into movement, to care more about honoring You than about looking dignified or composed to others.

2 Samuel 6:14 ... And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

Psalm 149:3 ... Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Exodus 15:20 ... And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.❤

Before Me...

I'm walking into so much I don't know, conversations I haven't had, challenges I haven't faced, moments I can't predict, but You're already there, ahead of me in all of it.

Teach me what it means that You go before me, that I'm never the first to arrive anywhere, that You've surveyed what's ahead and prepared the ground before I get there.
You go before me as my advance guard, smoothing rough places, opening doors I need opened, closing ones I shouldn't enter, working ahead of me in ways I'll never fully know.
Help me walk with confidence because You've gone ahead, trusting that wherever I'm going today, you've already been, that nothing will surprise You or catch You unprepared.
Remind me that going before me is love in action, your care demonstrated by preparing my path, protecting my steps, orchestrating what needs to happen before I arrive.
Give me peace about what's ahead because You're already there, courage to step forward knowing You've gone first, trust that your advance work makes every path safe.
Let me walk today knowing the Lord goes before me, confident because You're ahead of me, secure because wherever I'm going, You're already there.

Psalm 16:8 ... I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. ❤

Lead Me, Lord ...

Lord, lead me where You want me, not where I want to go, not where feels comfortable or makes sense, but wherever You're directing, wherever You're calling. I have ideas about where I should be, preferences about where I'd like to go, plans I've made, but I'm surrendering them to follow where You lead instead. Teach me to value Your direction over my preference, to trust that where You want me is better than where I want myself, that your leading always takes me somewhere good.

Lead me where You want me means I'm releasing my grip on the destination, giving You control of direction, following Your lead even when I don't know where we're going. Help me recognize your leading when it comes, to distinguish Your voice from my own desires, to know when You're directing me toward something even if it's unexpected or uncomfortable.

Remind me that You lead me for my good and Your glory, that where You want me is where I'll flourish, where I'm needed, where You've prepared work for me to do. Give me courage to follow where You lead, even when it's different from what I planned, when it requires sacrifice, when it means leaving what's familiar for what's unknown. Let me walk today, willing to be led anywhere You want me, trusting Your direction, following Your call, going wherever You say because where You lead is where I belong.

Psalm 25:5 ... Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. ❤

Thou Art Great!!

Lord, how great You are, beyond words, beyond comprehension, beyond anything my mind can fully grasp or my heart fully express.

Your greatness is displayed everywhere I look, in creation's vastness, in miracles recorded in scripture, in my own life where You've shown up time and again.
Teach me to live with constant awareness of Your greatness, not just acknowledging it intellectually but responding with awe, wonder, and worship that flows from really seeing who You are.
You are great in power, creating universes with a word, great in love, pursuing humanity relentlessly, great in mercy, forgiving what should be unforgivable.
Help me never lose my sense of wonder at Your greatness, never become so familiar with You that I forget how magnificent, how mighty, how marvelous You truly are.
Remind me that the greatness I see is just a glimpse, that what I comprehend is only a fraction of Your full glory, that eternity won't be long enough to explore Your greatness completely.
Give me a heart that responds to Your greatness with worship, with surrender, with trust, knowing that a God this great is worthy of my complete devotion.
Let my life declare how great You are, not just in words but in how I trust You, follow You, and give You the honor that Your greatness deserves.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Psalm 86:10-12 ... For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.  Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.  I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Psalm 145:3 ... Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Psalm 95:3 ... For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. ❤

Every Small Joy ...

Lord, let every small joy remind me You are near, using the simple pleasures of my day as whispers of Your presence, turning ordinary moments into awareness of You.

I forget you're near so easily, letting busyness and worry crowd out awareness of Your closeness, missing the evidence You leave throughout my day that You're right here.
Teach me to connect small joys with Your nearness, to see them not as random pleasant moments but as intentional reminders from You that I'm not alone, You're close.
A small joy, a moment of laughter, unexpected beauty, a warm cup of coffee, someone's smile, these aren't just nice things, but You are tapping my shoulder, saying "I'm here."
Help me train my heart to respond to small joys by thinking of You, to let pleasure point me toward Your presence, to use happiness as a trigger for remembering You're nearby.
Remind me that You're in the small things as much as the big things, that nearness isn't only felt in dramatic moments but in the gentle, ordinary joys You scatter through my day.
Give me a heart that turns naturally toward You when joy comes, even small joy, recognizing that every good gift is from You and evidence that You're close.
Let every small joy remind me You are near today, creating a rhythm where pleasure leads to awareness, where happiness points to Your presence right beside me.
Amen.

Brave!!

Lord, you make me brave, providing courage I don't naturally possess, giving me strength to face what terrifies me, enabling me to do what feels impossible.

I'm not brave on my own, fear is my default, anxiety is familiar, and left to myself I'd avoid, hide, or run from most of what You're asking me to do.

Teach me that bravery isn't the absence of fear but moving forward despite it, that You are making me brave doesn't mean I stop feeling afraid but that I act anyway.

You make me brave by being with me, by going ahead of me, by promising Your presence in whatever I'm facing, turning cowardice into courage through Your nearness.

Help me stop waiting to feel brave before I act and start trusting that You make me brave as I step forward, that courage comes in the doing, not before it.

Remind me that every brave thing I've ever done was because You made me brave, that it was Your strength in me, not mine, that got me through what I feared.

Give me courage for what's ahead today, bravery I don't feel yet, strength to face what scares me, knowing You make me brave when I need to be.

Let me live today as someone made brave by God, facing fears, taking risks, stepping forward, not because I'm naturally courageous but because You make me so.

Psalm 27:14 ... Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. ❤
