God or The Devil

The apostle John does not stutter. First, second and third books of John are so clear in describing what a true Christian ‘is’ and ‘is not’. 

He goes so far as to put all of humanity into one of two groups. 

1) CHILDREN OF GOD 

2) CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL

Deceptions ...

One of the greatest deceptions the enemy achieves through our sin is he fogs our ability to see the many layers of loss and pain we bring to our own life because of our own sin. We, in effect, trade heeding the voice of True Love and the atmosphere of heaven for shifting shadows and scratching addictions that leave us feeling empty and alone. Unless we see the negative effects of our own sin and all the good things we are sacrificing because of it, we will continue to stumble. 

When we realize it is our own sin and our own choices that sacrifice our ‘promised lands’ and ‘our destinies’, this should create in us a healthy holy fear that keeps us close to the True Shepherd and away from the sickness of sin. Sin is sickness of the soul. Sin is the disconnection from sound wisdom and the LIFE of God. 

To choose sin is to drink poison for your soul and your spirit. To lead a lifestyle of choosing sin and rejecting True Love’s voice leads to death and eternal separation from True LIFE. To come clean is to BECOME CLEAN. For He freely wants to wash and restore His love to us. To have Jesus is to have everything. To not have Jesus is to lose even that which we think we have. True Love does not come to make us comfortable in ‘our beliefs’. He comes to deliver us from ‘our lies’.

Matthew 24:24 ... For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 ... A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Isaiah 1:18 ... Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. ❤

Hearing God ...

The greatest lesson on earth is how to hear God. Because with His voice comes His presence (True Love), His guidance, His comfort, His encouragement, His wisdom, His instruction, His Joy, His peace and His healing hug. The greatest way to engage, connect and experience this is not in a weekly church pew. It’s on the pages of your own personal journal. 

Jesus is not just the written Word we see in scripture. Jesus is the risen living Word of God. He has a voice right now. And He wants to speak to you personally and show you things that will uplift, edify and inspire you.  Those who learn to hear God’s voice have Jesus as their Pastor Jesus as their Teacher Jesus as their Counselor Jesus as their Father, Helper, Lover, Friend.

Your Obedience...

Release work for today and see the details that the LORD will show you. Set apart your times and be glad in all things. Take His hand on the water of your divine purpose.  He will uphold you and give you the ‘pro’-vision needed. 

Take time to sit at His feet and shut out all that distracts. No greater purpose than for you to sit in His Divine Counsel. There is simply no work, chore, or responsibility that will benefit your life more than you sitting before Him. 

Allow Him to reveal to you the pathways of heaven. He calls the fish into the net of your ‘obedience.’ Listening and heeding His words is critical to the abundant experience. 

Learn this lesson above all else and you will indeed be His Supernatural Child.

Be Joy-Full

Baby steps towards the better leads towards your best. Press through in Joy and see the beauty of its finished purpose. Rest in His love as you move, and do not give into fear. Flow in His peace and rejoice in the details that are forming. 

Closer and closer you are moving towards your time of exposure and ministry. Stay close to Him in the mundane and He will fill your heart with love and purpose. Enjoy the journey and savor the minutes of this miracle life you live. 

Savor and see the people through the eyes of His love.  Speak ‘sincere love’ over their dry ground and see the life come forth!  You are a life-giving vessel, created to expand His glory and bring LIGHT and LIFE to those trapped in darkness and lies.

Tune Your Heart!!

Moses and the Children of Israel have just been delivered from 400 years of slavery to the Egyptians, by the hand of God. They have walked for three days and found no water. They come to Marah, but the waters are bitter. Moses cried to God for help, and the LORD shows Moses a branch of a tree. Which Moses then threw into the waters, and they were made sweet. God is (((a visual God))). 

This is one of the many ways He speaks to us. “So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless (((He sees))) the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does.” John 5:19 This is where class time and test time starts. God makes a statute and an ordinance for them. 

EXODUS 15:23-26 “Then they came to Marah, but they could not drink its waters because they were bitter; therefore, it was named Marah (bitter). The people [grew discontented and] grumbled at Moses, saying, “What are we going to drink?” Then he cried to the LORD [for help], and the LORD showed him a tree, [a branch of] which he threw into the waters, and the waters became sweet. There the LORD made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there 

He tested them, saying, “(((If))) you will diligently listen and pay attention to (((the voice))) of the LORD your God, (((and do))) what is right in His sight, and (((listen))) to His commandments, and keep [foremost in your thoughts and actively obey] all His precepts and statutes, then I will not put on you any of the diseases which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.” 

Learning to tune our hearts to God is in fact, the most important lesson on earth. I have found that crying out to God in your own personal journal is one of the greatest ways to encounter His daily voice and presence.

Life Preserver

Come close to His love in this hour. Evil must be judged, and those who cling to it are in danger. Drop all sin and cling to His holy ways. The path of real life is found in His counsel. True Love [is the benefit] for those who cling to His life. 

But He must have your whole heart. Patterns of brokenness must be broken by the breaking of ‘your boxes’. Idols are like cages to the mindset of those who live in them. Fire purifies. Trust Him in the trials and He, the risen Lord, will indeed deliver you. Storms are coming and lo they are here. 

He is your reliable life preserver. All idols will sink in the rising waves of this hour. All who cling to them will sink with them. And so, He says, “COME AWAY FROM YOUR EMPTY IDOLS AND COME TO ME”. He is your reliable Savior, for He Alone is Faithful and True.

Arise and Speak!!

Love knows no bounds. With Him all things are possible. He opens doors according to His will. Doors swing wide open in His perfect timing. Your obedience to that point brings you to its opening. Exchange your natural vision for eyes of faith to see its path. Speak to your mountains to be removed. Speak to the dry bones of your visions, that they be wrapped in His life. They will all rise up a vast army by His Spirit. ARISE AND SPEAK!

His Lions

The devil wants to discourage the flow of love in order to bring death and defilement. Speak love to yourself and others. Rise up with His soundness of mind. Self-control is a fruit of His Spirit. A mind fixed on Him moves with power and great courage. And the fear of man has no hold on His Lions. 

The righteous are as bold as Lions. You were not created for fear and foolishness, but for bold righteous love. ‘Lights’ to affect a darkened world. Turn to Him and He will awaken your heart and mind to your true identity. He blows away the fog of fear and despair and warm your soul in the light of His love. Clarity, hope and perfect love are His rewards, and He longs to give His fullness. 

"I HAVE MADE YOU STRONG... I HAVE MADE YOU FAITHFUL... I HAVE MADE YOU FEARLESS... I HAVE MADE YOU BOLD... I HAVE MADE YOU DISCIPLINED." He has made you in His image…PERFECT LOVE. 

 Now, RISE UP! Fall into agreement and alignment with His Word, for Truth has spoken. Do not shrink back from this truth with an evil, unbelieving heart. He clothes you in His Righteousness! He washes shame and guilt away in His sacrificial love and acceptance of you. Awake Child and shake off the lies that separate you from His love. 

He is The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. RISE UP in His power and love. NEVER back down and never give up! Bold courageous love! You are His standard, BANNERS of His perfect love to a desperate world.

Gold Suffering

In order to be able to truly judge rightly you must know what it is to suffer injustice. Sensitivity in this area is what He is after, for His people will judge the nations in righteousness. 

The trying of your faith purges out insensitivity and iniquity. He has not let go of your hand. He will stand with you in your trial and the fiery furnace. 

Those who seek to move in His authority will walk a path similar to the path He walked. Suffering produces the beautiful gold of good character. His life surrounds you. Take heart.

Heaven's Exchange

Exchange the empty for the full. The counterfeit for the real. The presents of the world for the presence of Heaven. Give Him your broken ways and your desperate desire for the worlds love that leaves you alone and uncovered. 

Come away in your open heart and look to the God who sees and hears your heart cries, and He alone will fill you with True Love that truly satisfies and heals your fractured heart and mind. He alone is able to restore your innocence, And crown you with His glory.

Engage!!

Give Him your undivided attention, that your heart may take in His perfect love for you. 

ENGAGE yourself to His True Love for you personally. Marry your heart to His sound mind. Solid connection is the bedrock of His Kingdom and the atmosphere of heaven. 

TRUE LOVE is undiluted by the empty distractions of the world. Whole hearts connected in His love brings His Kingdom of True Lovers. Sincere and saturated, they carry the river of His Spirit. 

TIE YOUR HEART to His, unadulterated by the world. Those devoted to True Love receive the benefits of True Love and the atmosphere of Heaven.

Safe Place

He is your safe place. Nobody has loved you like He loves you. Though the world forsakes you, He will never forsake you. His heart holds you and His perfect love casts out all fear. 

Come to Him and allow Him to hold you. Allow the truth of His words to wash your mind of toxic lies. His words are LIFE. Love and devote yourself to His love and His word. 

He accepts you wholly and completely. Where His Spirit is there is freedom.

Who's Your Real Shepherd?

This question may be the most important question any of us can ask ourselves. It’s not only a matter of good vs evil, life vs. death, it’s a matter of eternal heaven vs eternal hell. There is only One True Shepherd of the human soul, all other voices need to be sifted and wisely identified. Knowing The Good Shepherd’s voice is not a disposable option for the true Christian. It is literally the distinguishing feature of being one of ‘His Sheep’. Jesus says, “My Sheep know My voice and they follow Me (John 10:27) and a strangers voice they will not follow.” (John 10:5)

KNOWING is the first and foundational part being a Christian. Knowing is more important than going simply because it is key to being led by the actual Holy Spirit of God. If we miss this 1st Love, we can easily ‘go’ in the wrong spirit. It is also important to note that every demon in hell wants to ‘enter and take their seat in the temple of God’(you)) and proclaim that he/she/they/it ‘is’ God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4) 

Demons feel 100% comfortable in religious circles and using religious labels, even using scripture to deceive the naive into being led by them instead of God. If they can pervert the Christian experience, destroy your faith in God, shipwreck your faith and get you to blame it on God, when all along it was deceiving spirits taking full advantage of your lack of mature discernment…then hell gets a victory. It is also important to note that familiar spirits speak through ((family members)), fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers. If those family members are not led by the Holy Spirit and A LOVE of the Truth, you can be sure they are being led by some level of blind darkness and demons of every sort. 

Often it is the influence of multiple spirits(attitudes), like we see in Luke 8:2, “Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;” or in Mark 5:9, “Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” Demons often come in packs. Demons want to harm, pervert, twist, deceive, kill, steal and destroy, not only the human soul, mind, body and spirit, they want to disrupt and devestate the atmosphere of LOVE. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and becoming ((daily)) familiar with the Word of God, the Ways of God, the character of God, including the many nuances of His loving voice and presence is what makes you [become] one of His true sheep. Learning how to distinguish and recognize voices of all types is just as key as valuing His voice more than any other voice on earth. Gaining the skillful discernment and wisdom to identify blind, ignorant, unbelieving self-talk, arrogance, bitterness, manipulation and control, as well as all manner of demonic chatter, even when being cloaked in twisted scripture or sacrificial religious concepts. 

These voices can echo in your own head, which can often come as self-talk, or they can come through friends or close family members. These thoughts can quickly lead to powerful feelings that compel us to do something rash, disharmonious, awkward, foolish or harmful. It is most important to look at the most powerful and influential voices in our life. Where are they coming from? What is the state of their walk with God? Are they filled and led by the Holy Spirit? Do they love Truth? Do they love the things of God?? Does this make sense? Nothing on earth is more important than getting this lesson right. God’s Sheep “WILL NOT FOLLOW” demonic voices. 

Even if they have been familiar spirits speaking through generations of family members. Learning to say, “HELL NO” to these deceiving influences is part of walking in godliness, righteousness and moral courage. Today… let us honestly evaluate the voices we are allowing to influence us. Turning away from evil influences of every sort and turning to and (((tuning into))) the voice of The Good Shepherd is the only way to truly LIVE.

The Best State

The Best State to live in is not a Red State or a Blue State, it’s a Kingdom of God (minded) State. Whether God intervenes and overthrows the wicked or whether we are facing severe hard times, persecution and suffering, there is only One State that’s THE BEST to live in, and that State is ‘Faith, Hope, and LOVE’. 

Whether we live a long life or die tonight, there is only one thing that matters to God, it’s seeing Jesus (True Love) in us. God will not be looking at how ‘informed’ we are. He will be looking for how ‘in love’ we are. Because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY (set apart), FOR I AM HOLY.” (1 Peter 1:16) “You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.” (Psalm 16:11) 

Seeking the peace and Joy of God every morning, filling the heart with Him, then Abiding in that all day. But never forget to share the love and Good News of the gospel with others, no matter how messy and imperfect we might feel. This is the BEST STATE to Live in!

The Devil is a Catfish

Catfishing is when someone pretends to be someone else online to deceive others for various reasons. Both Natasha and I had this happen to us before we met each other. Which is crazy to think that people do this, but despite my believing I had good discernment, I was completely duped. 

The Devil is a catfish, and he will often use scripture in the mind of the naive to destroy their testimony, put them in harm's way, or use their gullibility to pervert the heart of God. Jezebels. Manipulation and Control. Pride. Rebellion. Apathy. Laziness. Greed. All of the above can be the actual spirit behind religious, biblical words, people and teachings.  But they are not at all coming from the Holy Spirit. Literally, they are demons cloaked as the voice of God. 

The Devil even used scripture to try to get Jesus to throw Himself off the Temple roof. This scary reality only serves to underscore the importance with daily intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Like people whose job it is to spot counterfeit $100 bills. The more time they spend looking at the real article, the easier it is to spot the counterfeit. This is why Jesus says, “But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will flee from him because they do not recognize his voice.” (John 10:5)

Can you distinguish the real Holy Spirit from religious spirits of manipulation and control?

1 John 4:1 ... Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. ❤

Ark of Presense

Soak in His instruction each day, then move out. Let the water of His words carry your boat into your day. It beats rowing on the sand of self. The Ark of His presence is the structure that carries the LIFE. All activity outside The Ark of His presence leads to death. 

Abide in His love and His wisdom. Divine Design and destiny are accomplished when you are in alignment with His Will and His word. The greatest pillars of faith are those who settle into His peace and His care, even in the storms of life. 

Rest in the boat of your mind, believing in His steadfast love for you. Rely on His care, not on the waves of this world. He has called you to perfect peace. He will speak “Peace” through you to calm fears and storms. To have His Spirit is to have His very Spirit. The works He did you will do also, by His Spirit. His peace passes all understanding. Abide in Him above all else and He will abide in you.

John 15:7 ...  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Philippians 4:7 ... And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ❤

Listen!!!

This is a season of learning to wait upon His voice. When the storms of thought and the waves of circumstance clamor for your attention, rest in His peace and you will hear His still small voice. Allow His Spirit to heighten your spiritual senses. Rest in His peace and you will hear His voice. 

Your openness will increase your ability. Bring yourself back to Him, your Shepherd. He watches over your very life. His sheep know His voice. It is His purpose and His plan to lead you to good things. 

Stay close to Him. He leads you to green pastures, abundant life, and still waters, perfect peace. The purpose and foundation of your very life was created to be in unbroken communion with Him.  Settle into this, even now, and He will give you rest.

Proverbs 1:33 ... But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. ❤

Listen To The Son...

I marvel at the sad reality that many Christians that have spent a lifetime attending Church and yet have never been taught the most important lesson of all; learning how to identify God’s voice and be led by the Holy Spirit. The entire Bible, front to back, highlights the critical need for the child of God to ‘obey’ the voice of God. Jesus says, “My Sheep know My voice and they follow Me.” (John 10:27) Paul underscores who the real Children of God are when he states, “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the Children of God.” (Romans 8:14)

Over the years somehow, we have been sold the false idea that, “Those who attend Church and pay tithes are real Christians.” Do we not realize, just as corruption has infiltrated our political system, school system, justice system and medical system, it has also infiltrated our ‘religious system’. Men of corrupt minds and motives (not all), that have created a pastor dependent system that guarantees for them a perpetual growing income for them. But is this what God intended? We see the answer when we see Peter, James and John on the Mount of Transfiguration where man’s knee jerk reaction to the glory of God is, “We should build (churches, tabernacles, tents) ...” 

God the Father sharply rebukes Peter for this line of thinking and says what? “After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell face down in terror.” (Matthew 17:1-6)  

How can we be led by the Spirit of God if we are never taught how to distinguish God’s voice? Evidently, they are not teaching this in seminary, and then no wonder we have churches scattered across the globe that are not bearing fruit. They have hired and followed those with ‘degrees’ when God made it clear The Way is through Jesus Himself. Not the pastor! Jesus said, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29)  

Again, in John 14:26 Jesus says, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John underscores this critical truth by writing, “As for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving your insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” (1 John 2:37 AMP) 

Am I saying to ‘not allow’ apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to help equip us? No! But I will say that learning God’s voice and listening and obeying His leading is without a doubt the MAJOR lesson God wants each of us to master. 

 Everything else is minor compared to that single greatest lesson.

"My Pens"

He wants to write ‘Love’ all over the world, you are "My Pens."  You were designed to be filled and flow freely wherever He uses you. A pen that works and then doesn’t work is frustrating in the hand of its master. So, it is with cursing and blessing, life and death, love and pride. This is faulty and part of the fall of man. 

But His original design for man was constant flow of giving and receiving love. He came to restore that which is blocked and broken, that once again His life would fill you and flow out from you onto a world that has lost its identity. 

Write, ‘I AM LOVE’ on your heart. Then do the same to those around you. Do not forget your identity. The ink of His Spirit flows reliable through those that receive and give its reality. Write, ‘My Love’ on everything. Complete the sentence as it was intended. His Words never faulter and always produce Truth, which brings clarity. 

Confusion comes from lies. Guard your heart above all else for it is the wellspring of life. Submit to His filling and then flow onto others just as He has flowed onto you. Love as He have loved you. Give to others what He have freely given to you. 

Speak and write, ‘Reliable Love’ with your life. His love is constant and eternal. His Words always write Faithful and True. He seeks to replicate His Words, His Life, in you, His vessels of love.
