"Hands of Fire"

When I was praying for you, I saw the Lord Jesus lifting you up out of the waters of baptism. As He took hold of your hands, I saw that His hands were filled with fire, and as He pulled you up, that fire transferred directly into your hands. This took place in the middle of a vast ocean, highly symbolic. The waters of baptism speak of dying to self and belonging wholly to Christ. “You are not your own; you were bought with a price.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)

This baptism declares publicly and spiritually that your life no longer belongs to you, but to Jesus alone. (Romans 6:3–4) The fire in Jesus’ hands is the fire of the Holy Spirit, and as it flowed into your hands, I sensed the Lord saying that your hands are anointed to heal. Just as the apostles carried healing virtue through their hands (Acts 5:12; Mark 16:17–18), the power released in this baptism marked your hands for ministry.

What God ignited in you is not natural, it is supernatural fire from heaven. (Acts 2:3–4) The ocean represents peoples, tribes, and nations. (Revelation 17:15) This speaks of your calling and your reach. While you may not personally go to every nation, the fire God has placed in you will be imparted to others, and they will carry that fire forward, from one to another, and from many to many. (2 Timothy 2:2)

What you release will multiply. So ready yourself, daughter of the living God, for the Lord has called you beyond the limitations of this natural world and into the demonstration of His power. You have been set apart, baptized not only in water, but in fire and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:11)

Walk boldly in what He has placed in your hands, for the fire is His, and the glory belongs to Him.
