The Law Leads to Christ!

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming not the realities themselves. For this reason, it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. (Hebrews 10:1)

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)

This image was inspired by many verses in the Bible that talks about the Law (given by Moses) and how it ultimately leads to the Person of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that the Law was a shadow of the good things coming, meaning that the purpose of the law was much bigger than what appeared at face value.

Ultimately the Law was unable to save, but that it pointed us to the need of a Savior. I had this vision of Moses holding up the two tablets of the 10 commandments, and the first thing I thought about was Christ hanging on the cross. So, for this image I wanted to combine the Old Testament and New Testament all in one frame. I hope this picture is an encouragement to you today!

Galatians 3:24 ...  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Romans 10:4 ...  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
