The Spotless Bride of Christ

Christ's love is for His Bride (The Church) and He tells her so in His love letter to her (The Bible)! He sends her a special gift (The Holy Spirit) as a sign of His true love for her and to seal her as His Beloved for the day of His return! So she waits in full submission to His will (obeying all He commanded) with eager anticipation of His arrival and is covered by the protection of His personal guards (His holy angels)!

While she waits with excited expectation, she has nightly dreams and daily visions of melting into the warmth and covering of His immense love and feels Him hold her close, as the two become one in body, soul and spirit (growing to become like Him in every way) and she knows He’ll never let her go (for all eternity to come)! For it is written in His love letter to her, so she believes, takes Him at His Word and it is so!

He has told her that He is preparing a place for them in His love letter and that when it is finished, He will come quickly without advance notice! It is then she will see the fullness of His love, as He catches up (raptures) His Bride (The Church) in His arms! So she waits and does not stray from her appointed duty (walking the narrow path) making all the necessary preparations (saving the lost and edifying the saved) for the glorious day of His return!

She waits patiently! The waiting seems an eternity! And yet He will most assuredly come, just as He promised, in the fullness of time! The time it takes for Him to make all the preparations for His Beloved, assures Him of her fidelity and faithfulness to Him! And so she waits, prepared and ready to receive the lover of her heart, knowing that they will go hand in hand to the place He has prepared for her (The New Jerusalem) and live together as one, joyfully ever after!

Selah (consider it deeply)!

Are you prepared and waiting patiently
upon The Bridegrooms return?

As it is written:
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:1-13 ♥
