This is what preaching the bible is meant to do: It addresses us in such a manner as to bring us under judgment; and it deals with us in such a way that we feel our whole life is involved, and we go out saying, "I can never go back and live just as I did before. This has done something to me; it has made a difference to me. I am a different person as the result of listening to this."

Romans 10:17 ... So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Luke 4:4 ... And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Luke 4:4 ... And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 11:28 ... But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 ... For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. ❤
