About Angels

✞ Angels are created beings.   They are not deity.

Colossians 1:16 … For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

✞ Angels are subject to sin.  Unlike man, there is no repentance for them.Ezekiel 28:15-16 … Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

✞ Angels should never be worshiped, honored or given glory.

Revelation 22:8-9 … And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 

✞ Angels are ministering spirits.

Hebrews 1:14 … Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

✞ Not all angels are holy.  Satan transforms himself into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 … And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

 

✞ The Body of Christ will judge angels.

1 Corinthians 6:3 … Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
