Shabbat

שָׁבַת

The Sabbath; meaning to cease, to end, or to rest.

Shabbat is from sunset on day six (Friday) and ends on day seven at night(Saturday).

Shabbat is the day to remember that God created the world, and then rested from His labors.

The Fourth Commandment.

Jesus/Yeshua is Gods Sabbath Rest.

Genesis 2:2-3 ... And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 20:8 ... Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Deuteronomy 5:12 ... Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.

Isaiah 58:13-14 ... If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:  Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Hebrews 4:9-11 ... There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Mark 2:27-28 ... And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Matthew 12:8 ... For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.✞
