Have you ever wondered what Heaven is like? Let us consider three things about Heaven:
1. Heaven is a city of incredible beauty. The Apostle John said he “saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Revelation 21:2) Heaven is more beautiful a place than we can ever imagine. The Bible emphasizes this beauty by describing it as a bride adorned for her husband.
2. Heaven is a city of incredible abundance. Many people have wondered about the size of this city. The Bible tells us that it is a cube and that it is approximately 1,500 miles in each direction. (Revelation 21:16) Millions and millions of people will be there, yet no one will ever be hungry or lack anything.
3. Heaven is a city of incredible happiness. Revelation 21:4 says, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
