"Sin" is a term used in archery. It means 'falling short of the mark'. If sin is 'falling short of the mark of True Love', then it is important to note and realize that Jesus and the Holy Spirit come to 'straighten' that which is crooked and heal that which is broken. In other words, Jesus came to restore us back to the presence of True Love(THE MARK), AND our ability to 'fly straight' and 'love better'. Sin is a compromiser of Love.
"Repentance" is simply turning and following 'The Way', 'The Truth' and 'The Life' of True Love. Jesus came to restore our ability to hit the mark and walk in 'true love', which is FREE from sin.
