Take heed of feeding your heart's corruption with thoughts of the sweetness that is in sin. Take heed also, of starving grace by withdrawing from it suitable nourishment.
Meditate much upon the sinfulness of sin, the vanity of the creature, the fullness of Christ, the exquisiteness of His sufferings, the finality of the judgment, the torments of Hell, the joys of Heaven, the infinite perfections of the divine nature, and the solemnity of eternity!
