No Limits

He is the God of limitless resources – the only limits come from us. Our requests, our thoughts, and our prayers are too small, and our expectations are too low. God is trying to raise our vision to a higher level, call us to have greater expectations, and thereby bring us to greater appropriation. Shall we continue living in a way that mocks his will and denies His Word? There is no limit to what we may ask and expect of our glorious “El Shaddai” – our Almighty God.

[A.B. Simpson]

Romans 4:20 … He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

James 4:2 … Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Ephesians 3:20-21 … Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us; Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. ♥

Speak, Lord

Get into the habit of saying, "Speak, Lord," and life will become a romance. Every time circumstances press, say, "Speak, Lord"; make time to listen. Chastening is more than a means of discipline, it is meant to get me to the place of saying, "Speak, Lord." Recall the time when God did speak to you. Have you forgotten what He said? Was it Luke 11:13 (If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?), or was it 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ)? As we listen, our ear gets acute, and, like Jesus, we shall hear God all the time.

[Oswald Chambers]

Romans 10:17 … So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Psalm 107:20 … He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

John 17:17 … Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. ♥

God Has All The Answers

Although you’re tired and weary
Just rest the whole night through
As God gives us the mornings
To see all things anew.

For things look so much brighter
When they’re slept on a while
You wake up in the morning
And soon you want to smile.

You look and see the sunshine
The bright blue sky above
You wonder why you fretted
And you know God is love.

With all this to surround you
There’s naught but this to say
And so with song you praise Him
Give thanks for this new day.

Yes, God has all the answers
To problems big and small
We only have to tell Him
He’s at our beck and call.

So we must take our burdens
And lay them at His feet
Then trust unto His wisdom
That all our needs He’ll meet.

Romans 8:28 … And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Psalm 55:22 … Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Philippians 4:19 … But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ♥

Three things that every Believer should know

1. You should know --- who you are.
Psalm 139:14 ... I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

2. You should know --- Whose you are.
Romans 8:16 ... The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

3. You should know --- where you are going.
John 14:2-3 ... In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Amen. ♥ ℛℒ

Jacob's Ladder

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 28:12-14

Because of HIM

God does not love us because of our goodness, or because of our kindness, or because of our faith. God loves us because of HIS goodness, because of HIS kindness, and because of HIS great faith! Selah. ℛℒ.

Psalm 31:19 … Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Ephesians 2:7 … That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:10 … Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ♥

Woman of God

Rise up O woman of God
in what He has given you
The things God has laid on your heart
Rise up, go forth, and do

Unlock, what God has placed within
The potential you have inside
The world is waiting for your release
To expand your wings and fly

Arise in your God-given gifts
For this is your finest hour
Arise in this Lord’s holy might
Ignited and empowered

For God is calling you to come forth
To impact this world for Him
Don’t hold back or limit yourself
Let His power arise within

And take His message to the world
To those that have lost their way
For you can surely make a difference
If you’d hear His voice and obey

You shall be strengthened in the Lord
As you begin to arise
Conquering those doubts that pull you down
And believe who you are in Christ

For you shall surely be transformed
As, in you, God increases more
And become a woman of true excellence
Bringing honor to her Lord

Proverbs 31:30-31 … Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. ♥

Somebody Touched the Lord

My soul was sick and dying bound in sin and shame, Somebody called upon the Lord until sweet redemption came. Somebody held me up to God, when I was feeling down, And I'm so glad that somebody prayed so I can sing it now.

Somebody got another prayer through, somebody touched the Lord, Somebody just touched Heaven for another need once more. Somebody prayed until the Spirit came, somebody called on Jesus name, Somebody knocked upon Heaven's door, somebody touched the Lord.

When I needed healing I felt too low to pray, Somebody interceded and soon the healing came. Now help me Lord to pray for those who stand in need of prayer, And let it be said just once more, somebody touched the Lord.

Somebody got another prayer through, somebody touched the Lord, Somebody just touched Heaven for another need once more. Somebody prayed until the Spirit came, somebody called on Jesus name, Somebody knocked upon Heaven's door, somebody touched the Lord.

[Author Unknown]

James 5:16 … Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Matthew 9:21-22 … For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mark 10:51-52 … And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Luke 17:17-19 … And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. ♥

Jesus is our Lord and our SAVIOUR

Following Yeshua Jesus means that sometimes we may have to get out of our boat and leave of our comfort zone. Jesus is not always in the boat. Sometimes He is out on the waves in the storm. As believers, we must have faith that Jesus will sustain us and hold us up. We must believe that Jesus will save us. We must believe that Jesus is our Lord and our SAVIOUR --- The Lord will not let us sink! ℛℒ

Matthew 14:25-31 … And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? ♥

Sons by Adoption

God's people are doubly his children, they are his offspring by creation, and they are his sons by adoption in Christ. Hence they are privileged to call him, "Our Father which art in heaven." Father! Oh, what precious word is that. If an earthly father watches over his children with unceasing love and care, how much more does our heavenly Father? Abba, Father!

[Charles H. Spurgeon]

Matthew 7:11 … If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luke 12:24 … Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

Romans 8:15 … For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. ♥

All The Saints In Heaven

The old time pastor was galloping down the road, rushing to get to church on time.

Suddenly his horse stumbled and pitched him to the ground. In the dirt with a broken leg, the pastor called out, "All you saints in Heaven, help me get up on my horse!"

Then, with superhuman effort, he leaped onto the horse's back and fell off the other side.

Once again on the ground, he called to Heaven, "All right, just half of you this time!" シ

There is Power in the Blood

There is power, power, wonder working power
In the blood of the Lamb;
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb.

[written by: Lewis E. Jones 1899]

Hebrews 10:19 … Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Revelation 1:5 … And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 12:11 … And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; ♥

We Are Not ...

We are not defenseless --- God is our protector. (Psalm 121:5)

We are not inadequate --- God is our sufficiency. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We are not useless --- God has a purpose for our life. (Romans 8:28)

We are not worthless --- God sent His Son to die for us. (John 3:16)

We are not without hope --- God has a place prepared for us. (John 14:2-3)

We are not unloved --- God loves us with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

We are not rejected, or abandoned --- God calls us His own. (Isaiah 43:1)

Godly Men

Men worshipping together
Giving God His due
Wanting change for the better
By embracing what is true

The transformation of a man
From darkness to the marvelous light
Gives him the strength to stand
For his struggle's an internal fight

Praising together one and all
Taking it all to God in prayer
Giving him the courage to stand tall
This is a spectacle so very rare

He's the head of his domain
Accountable to God for all
There are things which he must abstain
Or else, he's most certain to fall

Thank God for men with vision
To see a thing through to the end
Helping others to make the right decision
So they won't make the same mistakes again

So much to be thankful for
Since this world's almost at its end
Yet we can still walk through salvation's door
Because we need more godly men

[Ronnie Enoch]

Ephesians 6:4 … And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

1 Peter 3:7 … Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

1 John 2:14 … I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 … Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. ♥

Life is a Gift

Life is a feast, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is a reward, receive it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Be Thoroughly in Tune

Wherever you may live, and whatever may be your trials; however great your difficulties, and however small your helps; nothing should prevent your aiming at the highest standard, to behave like one who believes that Christ is coming again!

You should resolve, by God’s help, to live so that the day of Christ shall find you needing as little change as possible! You should seek to have . . . your tastes so heavenly, your affections so spiritual, your will so subdued, your mind so unworldly that when the Lord appears, you may be thoroughly in tune for His kingdom!

[J.C. Ryle]

Come to Jesus and Live!

Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live!

Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain
So … Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall
So … Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!

Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain
Then … Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!

O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside
Then … Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!

John 6:40 … And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ♥

Faithful to God

Let us ever walk with Jesus, Follow His example pure,
Flee the world, which would deceive us, And to sin our souls allure.
Ever in His footsteps treading, Body here, yet soul above,
Full of faith and hope and love, Let us do the Father's bidding.
Faithful Lord, abide with me; Savior, lead, I follow Thee.

The Once-For-All Sacrifice

God's Word Imparts Life

God's Word -- the Scriptures, the Gospel -- is not only truth, but it is life! Alive and enduring, God's Word imparts life to us and gives us his message of eternal life. It tells us of his grace and teaches us how we can be born again. Let's not take it for granted ... or neglect its message ... or remain silent about its truth.

[Phil Ware]

When Michael Stands Up

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. My Bible and I

We’ve traveled together through life’s rugged way
O’er land and o’er water, by night and by day:
To travel without it I never would try;
We keep close together, my Bible and I.

In sorrow I’ve proved it my comfort and joy,
When weak my strong tower which nought can
destroy;
When death comes so near me ’tis thought I
would die,
We still are together, my Bible and I.

If powers of evil against me would come,
And threaten to rob me of heaven and home,
God’s Word then directs me to Him in the sky;
And nothing can part us, my Bible and I.

When evil temptations are brought to my view,
And I in my weakness know not what to do,
On Christ as my strength I am taught to rely;
And so we keep company, my Bible and I.

When life’s path is ended; if Jesus should come
And take all his blood-purchased brethren home;
Or if, in long suffering, He waits till I die.
We’ll never be parted, my Bible and I.

And when in the glory my Lord I behold,
With all His redeemed gathered safe in the fold,
My Bible and I close companions will be,
For God’s Word abides for all eternity.

The Whole Treasury of God

All we want in Christ, we shall find in Christ. If we want little, we shall find little. If we want much, we shall find much; but if, in utter helplessness, we cast our all on Christ, He will be to us the whole treasury of God.

Handprint

Father help me to see your handprint,

There's nothing you cannot feel.

You know the path that we will take,

Whether it is right or wrong,
Only you alone will know.

So Father help me face each new day,
One minute at a time.

Through Christ

"Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven!" You've probably seen this bumper sticker or something similar. In one sense this is absolutely true. But, from God's point of view, Christians ARE perfect. Because of Jesus' sacrifice, God does not see our imperfections. He sees us through Christ's perfection. Look at these concepts and marvel! Look at how God views you and give thanks! Be humbled by God's grace to us in Jesus and rejoice! Holy, without blemish, and free from accusation -- there's nothing left to say but "Hallelujah!"

[Heartlight Devotionals]

His Example

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. John 13: 15-17 ♥

1 Peter 3:8 … Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: ♥

Love Your Enemies

We often talk about the privileges of being a child of God -- forgiveness, salvation, a future in heaven with him, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and ultimate victory when Christ comes. One of the greatest privileges we get, however, is the opportunity to act toward those who dislike and hate us in a way that reflects the character of God himself. Anyone can return hate for hate, but it takes a child of God to return a blessing and a prayer for his or her enemies.

[Phil Ware]

Luke 6:27-28 … But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Luke 6:35 … But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Matthew 5:43-44 … Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; ♥

I believe that there was a man named Jonah that lived in the belly of a whale, I believe that there is a beautiful heaven, I believe there is burning hell. I believe that Moses led God's children all across the hot sand, And when they came to the sea God parted the waters and they walked across on dry land.

I believe in the Blessed Hope, the Book and the Blood, And there is no other way. Jesus is the Son of God and he's coming back someday. The Holy Spirit dwells within us, The Heavenly Father is above, I believe in the Blessed Hope, I believe in the Book and the Blood.

I believe that Mary was virgin when she heard that Jesus was on His way, I believe if you'll look inside the lowly manger, you'll see God laying in the hay. I believe that Jesus died and was buried and rose up on the third day, I believe that the trumpet's gonna sound so loud, God's children will be called away.

I believe in the Blessed Hope, the Book and the Blood, And there is no other way. Jesus is the Son of God and he's coming back someday. The Holy Spirit dwells within us, The Heavenly Father is above, I believe in the Blessed Hope, I believe in the Book and the Blood.

Stand Out

Believers are called out by God. We are called to stand out and be different than unbelievers. We are called out from the darkness, called out from damnation, called out from the world. An old saying but is still true today --- Stop trying to fit in when you were born to stand out! ℛℒ

Romans 12:2 … And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

James 4:4 … Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15 … Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ♥

Jesus Has a Word: Whosoever

Therefore WHOSOEVER heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (Matthew 7:24)

WHOSOEVER therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 10:32)

For WHOSOEVER shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. (Mark 3:35)

For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

But WHOSOEVER drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14)

And WHOSOEVER liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:26)

I am come a light into the world, that WHOSOEVER believeth on me should not abide in darkness. (John 12:46)

Also I say unto you, WHOSOEVER shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: (Luke 12:2)

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And WHOSOEVER will, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17)

Acts 2:21 … And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. ♥

Fearing God

If we are truly hating evil in our lives and the world at large, then we are fearing God. Once we understand from a place of humility who God is, and what He truly loves and hates, then we too will share in His passion.

[Rick Roeber]

Proverbs 8:13 … The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 1:7 … The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Psalm 97:10 … Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Romans 12:9 … Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. ♥

An Opened Door

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. Revelation 4:1 ♥

God Makes The Offer ~ We Make The Choice

He, at this very moment, issues invitations by the millions. He whispers through the kindness of a grandparent, shouts through the tempest of a tsunami. Through the funeral he cautions, “Life is fragile.” Through a sickness he reminds, “Days are numbered.” God may speak through nature or nurture, majesty or mishap. But through all and to all he invites: “Come, enjoy me forever.”

[Max Lucado]

John 3:16 … For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:2 … In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Revelation 22:17 … 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. ♥

The Absolute Necessity of Repentance

You live in a world of cheating, imposition, and deception. Let no man deceive you about the necessity of repentance. Oh, that professing Christians would see, and know, and feel, more than they do – the necessity, the absolute necessity, of true repentance towards God!

There are many things which are not needful. Riches are not needful. Health is not needful. Fine clothes are not needful. Noble friends are not needful. The favor of the world is not needful. Gifts and learning are not needful. Millions have reached heaven without these things. Thousands are reaching heaven every year without them. But no one ever reached heaven without “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

[J.C. Ryle]

Luke 5:32 … I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Acts 3:19 … Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Mark 1:14-15 … Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. ♥

Be Kind

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.

 [Mark Twain]

Ephesians 4:32 … And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Proverbs 25:21-22 … If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

2 Corinthians 3:12 … Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;♥

Grace and Glory

♥ For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11

The Blood of Jesus

Only God could take your BLACK heart, dip it in Jesus RED blood, and wash you WHITE as snow. [O. Pace Jr.]

… Oh, nothing but the blood of Jesus!

1 John 1:7 … But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Psalm 51:7 … Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Revelation 1:5 … And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. ♥

Render Our Prayers

God will answer His pleading people in their anguish. He has wonders in store for them. What they have never seen, heard of, or dreamed of, He will do for them. He will invent new blessings if needful. He will ransack sea and land to feed them: He will send every angel out of heaven to succor them, if their distress requires it. He will astound us with His grace and make us feel that it was never before done in this fashion. All He asks of us is that we will call upon Him. He cannot ask less of us. Let us cheerfully render Him our prayers at once.

[Charles H. Spurgeon]

Jeremiah 33:3 … Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Psalm 6:9 … The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

1 John 5:14-15 … And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Philippians 4:6 … Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ♥
