Who a preacher runs with and associates with tells me more about their character, good or bad than how good they can preach in the pulpit.
If a mans personal circle of influence is good then their ministry will flourish in a healthy and Godly manner. But if the influence is corrupt by false doctrine, or worse, heresy, then eventually that same preacher, regardless how well intentioned they might be, or anointed they are, will eventually succumb to that same spirit of compromise.
Be careful who you follow, or listen to, because if the tree is bad, it doesn’t matter how shiny the apple is.
