There is but one thing that truly matters at the end of this life, namely for those who are in Christ, and that is this; I have fought a good fight, I have run my race, I have kept the faith.
Nothing, absolutely nothing else matters when it’s all said and done when it comes to our life on this earth, and when it’s over.
Whether or not you achieved every dream, traveled every road possible, preached every sermon, gave every penny to the cause of Christ, the only thing that Paul could say, the only thing you and I can say that will bear the final epithet to our purpose and calling in this life will be: I have fought a good fight, I have ran my race, and I have kept the faith.
Christ will do the rest when it comes to your reward.
