The simplicity of the gospel is this: Read your Bible, pray, talk to God, listen for God to answer back, and then do exactly what he tells you to do. It's that simple. You don't need someone's current and popular study Bible, you don't need some fancy prayer that needs to be said, you don't even need to kneel in the finest church auditorium to know God, you just need to stop and pray, that's it.
That's the simplicity of this gospel, stop making it difficult for yourself, and others because it's not.
Religion makes Christ difficult to reach, yet faith presses in just to touch the hem of his garment. It's that simple.
