Health, Wealth, and Prosperity: Another gospel, another Jesus, another way.
When the American Dream is mixed with biblical Christianity the result is something foreign from the original source. This is why people walk away from the faith in many situations, they were following another Jesus who could not meet their demands when things went wrong.
The solution to this problem is a return back to the faith and the understanding that God doesn’t always promise us an easy path, he doesn’t guarantee blessings, he doesn’t promise healing in every situation. Actually, he promises that our road will be a difficult one, a path of hardship, loneliness, and at times failure. But even then, he promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us.
That’s real Christianity.
