The rich won’t follow Christ because the concept is too simple a truth that never makes sense to achieve, they can’t market or profit something that comes free.
The intellectual won’t follow Christ because the equation is based on a simple formula that is elementary and does not challenge their reasoning.
The famous won’t follow Christ because he doesn’t offer what the world offers, praise and worship. They can’t let self-die.
People won’t follow Christ for a number of reasons, but when we examine the main problem with why they reject Christ it all becomes clear, they just don’t need nor want him.
Such is the way of the sinner. This is why the road remains narrow.
