For believers, the cup is not half-empty. Neither is the cup half-full.
Instead, for Christians there is no end to the goodness of God in Christ; we are satisfied beyond imagining; truly, we do not have words to give voice to the grace shown us by our Sovereign, so we say, quite simply, with the Psalmist:
"My cup runneth over."
