When you tithe your hard-earned income, you aren’t tithing to receive anything in return, but that the machine can keep demanding more. It’s called Capitalism.
The wording (Tithe) itself is disingenuous because it implies an old covenant meaning that no longer exists. That’s why we should change the wording to reflect a more accurate interpretation and call it giving.
But the mainstream traditionalists won’t do that because it is counterproductive to their agenda.
