Suffering For Christ

If you love the Lord, a true believer following Yeshua Jesus, at one time or another you will suffer persecution or you will be rejected. This can be very painful, especially when done by those that you love deeply. Jesus knows exactly how painful this is. He was “despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” [Isaiah 53:3] When you are persecuted or rejected for Christ … REJOICE ~ Great is your reward in Heaven! Matthew 5:11-12 … Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

James 1:2 … My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

1 Peter 4:13 … But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Romans 8:18 … For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

John 15:18 … If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Matthew 5:10 … Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ♥
